Toshiba announced a trio of tablets back in early-June. The models included the Excite Pure, Excite Pro and Excite Write. At the time Toshiba announced the full set of specs, the pricing and even had the tablets available in June. The catch with that last part, the June availability was limited to the Toshiba website. They did however promise that additional retail availability was coming in July.

Watch out, Samsung: there's a new manufacturer looking to cover all the tablet bases. Toshiba's Excite line, previously restricted to a single 10-inch model, grows by three today. The company pulled the curtain off three new entries in the line, with screens sized 7.7, 10 and a massive 13.3-inches, all of them running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with NVIDIA Tegra 3 processors. The Excite 10 goes on sale next month, with the Excite 7.7 and Excite 13 following in June.

Toshiba’s Excite gets a new name, date and price

Toshiba's Excite X10 made a splash when the company unveiled it at CES, and for good reason: it's one of the most stylish tablets we've ever seen, something made even more impressive when considering that the original Thrive was universally panned as dull. See if you can hang on to your excitement as the tablet comes to market; the re-christened Excite 10 LE will be availablie in the United States starting on March 6th, starting at (gulp) $529.99.

Toshiba AT200 Excite tablet goes on sale in the UK

OK, so Toshiba's initial Thrive tablet wasn't a world-shattering piece of technological or stylistic innovation. But those of you looking for a stylish entry in the tablet market have one more option today - at least if you live in the United Kingdom. The Toshiba AT200, alternately known as the Excite X10, is now on sale starting at £399 for the 16GB model and an extra fifty quid for the 32GB version.  At 7.7mm thin and weighing just 1.2 pounds, the AT200 is one of the thinnest and lightest 10-inch tablets on the market today. You can pick one up from Carphone Warehouse now, and they should start appearing in retail channels sometime next week.

Toshiba 7″ tablet images appear as Toshiba preps for CES

Toshiba and their tablets aren't really what I'd call pretty or thin but at this years CES Toshiba aims to change that. The Toshiba AT200 (Excite) we've seen plenty of in the past is set to make a big splash this year, coming in as one of the thinnest Android tablets on the street. We are now seeing pictures of a new budget 7" tablet that could be roaming the CES halls.

Toshiba Excite AT200 gets a February 2012 release in Canada

Many were somewhat underwhelmed with Toshiba's Android tablet debut, the 10-inch Thrive, even with its fabulous marketing strategy of telling consumers how smart they were through Tony Bennet-style singing. The second revision, now renamed the Excite, is headed for a release up north in February of next year. Mobile Syrup quotes an anonymous source that contradicts its January date on the website. Canadians looking for a super-slim Honeycomb tablet, try to contain your excitement.
