The update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for HTC's popular One S smartphone began rolling out internationally back in late December, but it still hasn't arrived for everyone quite yet. Samsung Galaxy S III priced and headed for five UK carriers
While those of us in the US patiently wait for Samsung to tell us which carriers will get their new Galaxy S III, those in the UK have a date - and generally don't have to worry about carriers, thanks to an inter-operable HSPA+ cellular infrastructure. (Not that we're bitter or anything.) But for those Brits that still want to get a nice juicy subsidy with their Galaxy S III, we've got good news: according to UK retailer Carphone Warehouse, no less than five of the UK's biggest carriers will be offering the phone with various incentives and monthly deals.

HTC's One series is inching closer, though it seems like it's a lot closer for those across the pond. Customers of British telcos Vodafone and Three can now reserve their very own HTC One X or One S. Both companies are now taking pre-orders for both phones, so whether you want the crazy-powerful One X or the svelte One S, you're covered. Three says that the HTC devices will be available next Wednesday, April 4th, but Vodafone is somewhat mum - we'd expect the phones to be available on both carriers at the same time.

Samsung Galaxy Pro QWERTY candybar confirmed, coming to Three [Video]
Samsung has outed its latest Galaxy family smartphone, though this time it's half touchscreen and half physical keyboard. The Samsung Galaxy Pro has a 2.8-inch touchscreen above a QWERTY 'board, running Android 2.2 Froyo on an 800MHz processor. Around the back there's a 3-megapixel camera, while inside there's confirmed WiFi (but presumably Bluetooth and GPS as well). Samsung has installed what looks to be a tweaked version of TouchWiz, and the Galaxy Pro will apparently also have the Social Hub Premium pre-loaded. No word on pricing or specific availability, though we already know at least one carrier readying to offer the Galaxy Pro. UK network Three says the smartphone is "coming soon" and offers the following video to tide you over. [youtube 0sJ3eO63v40] [via SlashGear]
