Google discussing plans with Three to bring cheap overseas calls

You'd think that with the advent of the Internet, mobile networks, and instant messaging platforms, people would no longer need to make expensive overseas calls. It may be hard to believe but not everyone has or can afford a mobile phone in other parts of world. Google wants to help by bringing cheaper overseas calls. One of Google's goals is to build a global network that will offer cheap voice calls to communicate overseas with the same cost as local texts, calls, and mobile data.

EE and Three UK team up to offer LTE to more customers

EE and Three have combined to bring LTE service to more of Europe. In a £1 billion deal, the two carriers will access each others’ network across Europe. This is an important move for a burgeoning LTE network in Europe, and should provide better coverage in a quicker timeframe.

HTC One S getting Jelly Bean update on Three UK

The update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for HTC's popular One S smartphone began rolling out internationally back in late December, but it still hasn't arrived for everyone quite yet. While the T-Mobile version is still up in the air and in the testing stages, the folks down on Three UK have confirmed the update is rolling out this week.
