Huawei Announces the Ascend P1 S, world’s thinnest phone, runs ICS
Huawei has just announced their new Android smartphone to battle the likes of the DROID RAZR or the new Fujitsu Arrows ES smartphone. They are bringing the worlds thinnest smartphone to market and it will be called the Ascend P1 S. Huawei has managed to fit a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and some other impressive specs into a super thin and lightweight 6.68mm thin chassis.

Fujitsu Arrows ES IS12F — world’s thinnest smartphone available Jan. 7th
If you thought the DROID RAZR was thin then you'll want to take a gander at the new Fujitsu ARROWS ES IS12F smartphone. The RAZR at the thinnest point comes in around 7.1mm but Fujitsu has taken things a step further and this beast measures a paper-thin 6.7mm thick. This phone was first spotted at the FCC back in November, but is now set to hit a few Japanese markets on January 7th.

Fujitsu Arrows F-07D is the worlds thinnest smartphone, clears the FCC
We haven't heard much from Fujitsu regarding Android smartphones but today the F-07D has just cleared the FCC and has officially taken the world crown for the thinnest smartphone. The DROID RAZR was recently launched and is amazingly thin at just 7.1mm but that's now a thing of the past as the Fujitsu Arrows is only 6.7mm thick.

Glance Android Concept Phone Made for Skinny Jeans
If you're not one of those people who has the biggest pockets in the world so wide and deep that they're able to keep an Acer Iconia Tab A100 in them without a problem, we've got the phone for you. This is a conceptual design, meaning that it's certainly not based in reality at the moment, and given what it's got going for it, we're looking at a few years at least before something like this can become a reality. The greatest and most obvious feature here is the thinness of most of the device.

OmniVision Launches Out to Get Rid of Camera Humps With 5 mm Camera
Phones and tablets are getting so thin these days we've seen several phones that have needed dedicated camera humps in their design, such as the Droid X, or the G2x. Someone over in OmniVision, a digital imaging company based in California, must not be a fan of that extra width. Today they've announced a brand new camera that is cutting the height of the current leader by 20%

NEC MEDIAS E-04C 7.7MM Android Phone [Hands-On in Japan] [EXCLUSIVE]
Our main homie Ewdi is up in his crib over in Japan [don't worry, he's completely safe], and he found one single store that had a working model (aka not just a dummy model) of the MEDIAS E-04C 7.7MM Android phone. That's one thin phone, I must say. Ewdi notes that this model is running Android 2.2.2 Froyo, and is not as snappy as he thought it would be - and trust me when I say Ewdi's had his hands on his fair share of smartphones. Our man in Japan with the goods!
