OUYA gets Ethernet port and tablet product manager
With over $5 million pledged and still 21 days to go before its Kickstarter campaign wraps up, OUYA is in a pretty good spot. Some remain unconvinced that OUYA will be able to pull off an Android-based console, but today, the team revealed what they're calling a "secret weapon." Muffi Ghadiali has been working behind-the-scenes on OUYA as the person in charge of the development of the product's hardware and software, and today the OUYA team announced his involvement in the project for the first time. Some of you may know Ghadiali from his stint at Amazon's Lab126, where he worked on developing hardware and software for the Kindle line of products. Now, he's all OUYA's and he's got a plan to take this project from mere Kickstarter campaign to smashing success.

Today we've got our hands on the brand new beast known as the ZTE Grand X, complete with NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 4.3-inch QHD display, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This device also has, believe it or not, an NVIDIA modem - the NVIDIA i450 (Icera) to be exact. ZTE also makes another device with this modem, the ZTE Era. This device, the ZTE Grand X, is made to bring on power at an undeniably affordable price.

Some HTC news is starting to pour in this evening, and it all has to do with powerful quad-core processors too. Earlier today we reported HTC was working on another AT&T 4G LTE device only it would feature a a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, and now new reports are surfacing regarding a new tablet. Being called the HTC Vertex HD this 10.1-inch quad-core tablet could be the real deal.

HTC impressed everyone in the Android world back in February when they announced their brand new HTC One banded devices like the One X, One S, and the budget friendly One V. AT&T quickly jumped on the flagship HTC One X with it's 4.7-inch display, Android 4.0 ICS, and a quad-core processor. Sadly for their 4G LTE rollout plans they ended up switching to a dual-core processor instead. Today however a brand new HTC One phone was spotted with some mighty impressive specs.

After we saw this update start hitting international devices last month today we can confirm Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is arriving here in the states for those rocking Lenovo's ThinkPad Tablet. Originally launched with Honeycomb (and hardware buttons both) today it will be getting bumped to ICS, and lets not even talk about Jelly Bean yet.
