Wikipad 10-inch gaming tablet gets a list of specs

The idea of a "gaming tablet" is an odd one, but we've been seeing a few companies try their hand at producing one anyway. The latest is Wikipad, which is gearing up to release tablet of the same name - the tablet was shown off at CES back in January, but since then, it's gone through a few changes. Originally intended as a 7-inch tablet, the Wikipad had become a 10.1-inch tablet with an IPS display running at 1,280 x 800 resolution.

Fuhu Nabi 2 tablet available for pre-order, launching July 22

The Fuhu Nabi 2 tablet is on the way to stores, and it's got your children square in its sights. It's available for pre-order now from sites like Wal-Mart, GameStop, and Best Buy, with it scheduled to launch at Target on July 22. The tablet, which it targeted at tiny humans, also comes with a tiny price: $199.

OUYA gets Ethernet port and tablet product manager

With over $5 million pledged and still 21 days to go before its Kickstarter campaign wraps up, OUYA is in a pretty good spot. Some remain unconvinced that OUYA will be able to pull off an Android-based console, but today, the team revealed what they're calling a "secret weapon." Muffi Ghadiali has been working behind-the-scenes on OUYA as the person in charge of the development of the product's hardware and software, and today the OUYA team announced his involvement in the project for the first time. Some of you may know Ghadiali from his stint at Amazon's Lab126, where he worked on developing hardware and software for the Kindle line of products. Now, he's all OUYA's and he's got a plan to take this project from mere Kickstarter campaign to smashing success.
