In their usual fashion they've cracked open the brand new Google Nexus 7 Tablet to reveal everything under the hood. Showing us that this clean design also has clean innards -- and a huge battery. Rumor, leak, speculation, pre-announcement, announcement, release, root, recovery, custom ROM, waiting for new software releases, replacement. Such is the life cycle for a modern Android phone (though not necessarily in that order). For major phones, a teardown from the dedicated folks at iFixIt has also become pretty commonplace, and the latest to get the treatment is the Galaxy S III.

Have you been wondering how Motorola crammed so much high-end hardware into the DROID RAZR's slim frame, especially considering its beefy battery and LTE radio? Well so have the folks at iFixIt, only they have the expertise to tear apart that Kevlar case without destroying the goodies within. They've done their customary teardown, albeit with some non-standard tools - I'm told on good authority that that wicked little tool below is a Japanese carpentry saw called a dozuki.
