Chitika: Samsung tablet use way up, Apple takes slight dip

Chitika has new web use statistics for tablets, and it shows the iPad is still king. Though Apple’s tablet offering leads by a wide margin, Samsung has picked up some ground. They’ve also grown quite a bit over this time last year, but still only have about 10% of the usage an Apple device does.  

Verizon LG G Pad 8.3 LTE review

LG released the G Pad 8.3 in the US back in October of 2013. The initial release was a WiFi only model, and that was followed up by a Google Play edition. The GPe model was also WiFi only in terms of connectivity, however a cellular connected model has since come available through Verizon Wireless. We've been playing with a review unit for the past few weeks, and at risk of offering a spoiler in the beginning, we can say there hasn't been any disappointment.

Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet US release set for May 4th

Sony announced the Xperia Z2 Tablet during Mobile World Congress. And while we knew the device would be rolling out on a global basis, Sony was quiet in terms of release date and pricing details for the US release. Well, flash forward till today and we now have confirmation on both -- the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet will be available in the US beginning on May 4th.
