Motorola Xoom OTA update brings new market for tablets

New details are just hitting the wires that another update is hitting the Motorola Xoom. Last week it received an OTA to Android 3.2.1 and we are now hearing another update has hit devices this morning. Along with it brings a brand new Android market for tablets -- looking beautiful just like what we now have on our smartphones. As soon as I get more details I'll drop the APK so everyone can enjoy the new market too.

Platinum Apps has just lowered the price on their awesome Air Hockey game made just for Android Honeycomb tablets. What we have is Platinum Air Hockey bringing amazing graphics and life-like physics to Honeycomb. I've played a few air hockey games in the past -- but with stunning HD graphics on my 10" tablet this sure beats anything else I've tried so far. More details and pictures after the break.

Acer eBook: Qualcomm MSM7227 Android Tablet

Acer is at it again, just last week when their CEO demonstrated an Acer tablet another one emerges. In the past Acer has said they will not be entering the tablet market but it appears that decision has been overturned. This is the second leak in as many weeks of an Acer branded Android tablet.

VIA’s WonderMedia Android 1.6 tablet

When we first heard about VIA Wonder Media’s entrance into to the Android tablet market, at the time there were no pictures or specs of any of the devices. Now we at least know what they will look like thanks to our friends over at Engadget. They caught on video a few of them hanging out at VIA’s booth at this year’s Computex expo.

VIA-powered $100-$150 Android tablets due 2H 2010

VIA is taking aim on the tablet market with 5 Android tablets in the works. These tablets will range from $100-$150 and is expected to launch by the end of the year. Richard Brown, VP of Marketing said Apple has legitimized the tablet market an Android offers more versatility in the tablet market and opens up the possibility for different sizes and shaped tablets.
