Everything Everywhere 4G LTE network hands-on

Everything Everywhere held its highly-anticipated 4G event in London today, and we were right there to take it all in. Perhaps one of the biggest announcements of the event was that Everything Everywhere has been re-branded as EE before launching 4G LTE service in the UK. As an added bonus, EE will also be offering fiber service, another first for the company - a team up between carriers Orange and T-Mobile UK.

T-Mobile UK will sell subsidized HTC One X and One S on April 5th

The HTC One X and One S are the hot topic in the Android world right now, and while UK citizens can stroll down to their local electronics store and pay full price for one as of today, those who want a cheaper contract option will have to wait. But not too long: T-Mobile's UK arm will begin selling both phones from its online and retails stores on Friday, April 5th. T-Mobile will join Three, Vodafone, and others in offering the new phones on subsidized plans - if only US carriers could get along so nicely!

ZTE’s Vivacity lands on T-Mobile in the UK

We got a glimpse at the ZTE "T-Mobile" Vivacity early this month, and lo and behold, it's arrived on the UK branch of everyone's favorite magenta-tinted carrier. The mid-range Gingerbread phone is available now from T-Mobile for a £10 monthly charge, or £99 on a contract-free plan. The device loses its manufacturer branding, like many OEM phones on T-Mobile.

Motorola Atrix headed to T-Mobile UK in June

This morning some news has came up that T-Mobile UK looks to be getting the Motorola Atrix. The date I'm hearing is starting in June, but no exact time frame has been given by T-Mobile. Hopefully they plan to release it before June because by then I expect there to be more than a few dual core phones to compete with it. Sooner the better T-Mobile.

T-Mobile UK Responds to delayed Galaxy S 2.2 Update

Samsung Galaxy S owners in the UK have probably already noticed that they have not seen the 2.2 update that was said to be available via KIES November 30th. Well not surprisingly the update was delayed (again) and T-Mobile has made another official response detailing the delay.

T-Mobile UK Turns Android Donut into Éclair But Where’s the Froyo?

Aggravated users are to asking Sony Ericsson to make a technology jump to Android 2.1. T-Mobile UK has just announced that users can expect a big change in the Android OS by the end of next month. They promise to push out an over air update for customers using Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 or X10 Mini Pro and inform users via text message when the update is available.

HTC Desire for T-Mobile UK Getting Android 2.2 in September

The roll out for Android 2.2, or Froyo, has gone relatively better than expected. It's managed to make its way to some devices that many didn't think would get it until the end of the year (like, Christmas time), and we've even seen a device officially launch with the updated mobile Operating System. With that being said, though, there's still plenty of folks out there waiting for their update. For example, T-Mobile UK customers out there with the HTC manufactured Desire? They're still waiting.

T-Mobile UK Pulls G2 Touch’s Prep Update Due to Issues

The two part Android 2.1 update has just recently been withdrawn for release for the G2 Touch. This is the network's name for the HTC Hero, with some reports that a couple users had some problems with it. Quite a few people had problems getting the preperatory update to work, they would just get a flashing warning triangle stating that during the process something had gone wrong.
