This doesn't update to the latest OS but does bring plenty of fixes and improvement so stay tuned for more details.

It’s the middle of July and tech news this week has been rock steady! Lets start off by saying that Google+ is now available for international users; and at this point it seems that all Google+ is missing compared to other social platforms is a wider userbase. In other Google news, their new project “Google Offers (Beta)” launched in NYC Tuesday. Think of this service as a way to save money with many different local businesses on a daily basis. This past Monday evening, HTC released information that the bootloaders of some of their more recent devices will be unlocked in the coming months of August and September. Some of their devices have already been unlocked over at XDA Developers, but I’m sure many have been awaiting an official fix.

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide Review
What we've got here is, let me tell you straight out, HTC's greatest effort to date. This device takes the myTouch 3G Slide aside for a heart-to-heart, telling it that it's time to leave because the boss has arrived. A slide-out QWERTY keyboard under a 3.7 Super LCD display all around a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and the greatest photo and video setup yet produced on a smartphone. Interested yet? Let's have a full look at this masterpiece of a device.

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Free as Web-Only Special til July 7th
Looks like T-Mobile has another web-only special going and this time it's on the myTouch 4G. Still one of the best phones around, especially from T-Mobile. As you'd expect the amazing price of free is with a new 2-year contract as always, but that is a great price for an amazing phone.

T-Mobile’s myTouch 4G Slide gets official: HSPA+ and a boosted camera
T-Mobile USA has given the official nod to the myTouch 4G Slide, the carrier's latest QWERTY smartphone. Built by HTC, the myTouch 4G Slide packs a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen and the same 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor as inside the HTC Sensation and HTC EVO 3D, as well as that physical keyboard and an upgraded camera. The 8-megapixel camera - which has autofocus and a dual-LED flash - also gets a new f/2.2 wide aperture lens and a backlit sensor, both intended to improve low-light performance. HTC has also fettled its software, promising zero shutter lag as well as adding in-camera HDR support, SweepShot for easy panoramic photography, and BurstShot for firing off multiple frames in short order, and then allowing you to pick the best later on. A front facing camera gives support for video calls, meanwhile, and the phone runs Android Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.0. Other specs haven't been announced, but we're guessing WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and all the usual sensors will be included when the T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide arrives in July 2011. It'll be priced at $199.99 with a new, two-year agreement, and available in black or khaki. [youtube 97REawPREH4]
