Google Docs receives update, Brings offline access and better tablet support

Google has just issued another update for their popular Google Docs for Android app. While many of Google's apps are awesome they seem to release a few that don't have that great of tablet support -- something that just doesn't make sense to us. Today they've updated Docs with not only offline support, but they've also improved the tablet look and experience.

The recently released for Android version of Grand Theft Auto III has been dropped to just $2.99 for the holiday season until December 29th. Netflix updated with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich support

Just in time for everyone in the US to start receiving their Galaxy Nexus phones running ICS, Netflix has updated today with full support for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The update has just hit the Android Market and it only shows a few small bug fixes and ICS support. This is just in time because I'm sure many are picking their Nexus up at this very moment.

Google Docs update improves tablet layout and experience

Google Docs has just received a much needed update today in the market that is aiming at Android Honeycomb tablets. We have a brand new layout and enhanced user interface for tablets as well as a 3-panel interface for easy viewing of documents on the larger 7 & 10.1" displays. More update details after the break.

Sony Ericsson supports developers, teams up with CyanogenMod

Earlier this week we briefly mentioned the highly popular CyanogenMod 7 would be coming to a wide array of Sony Ericsson smartphones thanks to a group effort by the devs of Cyanogen and FreeXperia, today we have now learned we have one more to thank for the continued support -- Sony Ericsson. They've teamed with CM and FreeXperia and we have the details below.

CyanogenMod and FreeXperia team up to offer CM7 on 10 Sony Ericsson devices

Back in August we first heard a few minor details that the members of CyanogenMod were planning to support more device, especially a wide array of Sony Ericsson smartphones. Yesterday Cyanogen himself (Steve Kondik) confirmed support for 10 new SE phones over on Google+. With a joint effort by the CM team and the group known as FreeXperia we can expect to see CM7 and future releases support many Sony Ericsson and Xperia play devices moving forward.

uTorrent adds Android support

Popular BitTorrent client, uTorrent, has just released an alpha build of it's software, version 3.1. This version brings drag and drop support for Android devices, as well as iTunes, the PS3, and Xbox 360. Users are now able to drag and drop items directly from uTorrent into the devices without having to leave the program itself.
