Android was granted this magnificent application a few months ago, iOS, those lucky ducks, having more than just the one pinball game in their Gameprom collection. LG Optimus 2X Gets Demoed in 20-Minute Official Hands-On

The LG Optimus 2X was one of the key devices at this year's CES. Being one of the first devices to be announced with NVIDIA's Tegra 2 dual-core processor, the device will definitely be the powerhouse it was rumored to be. LG Optimus 2X Now Available for Pre-Order in Europe

It looks like we're nearing the launch of the ultra powerful LG Optimus 2X in Europe. Expansys, a UK-based online retailer, and Ellos, a Danish retailer, have put the device up for pre-order. The device is listed at £499.99 (~$800) and the company is also offering it for free with a few contracts from Vodafone. Expansys has an expected launch date of March 21, 2011. Also in Europe, Danish store Ellos has the Optimus 2X up for pre-order for just 3599 DKK (~$650). They expect to see the device February 25, but this is just speculation at this time. The launch date for the device on T-Mobile USA is still yet to be announced, but if these international expected launches have any ground, we can expect to see the device in March. LG Optimus 2X 1080P Video Surfaces

One of the biggest features of the LG Optimus 2X is its ability to record 1080p video. Lucky for us, we get to see exactly what this looks like (well, uploaded to YouTube) and you can see the video after the break. We are graced with a shaky camera panning across a calm fishing dock. The video is pretty impressive, however, it’s not the optimal action shot that we would have hoped for. Check it out: Note: Be sure to watch full screen as well as select "1080p." We’re quite impressed with the device, and we can’t wait until the device gets launched to the general public. If you would like more information on the device, including a hands-on video, be sure to check out our Hands-On with the LG Optimus 2X. [Via Engadget]

Could this be the XOOM or something new? The XOOM, being an obvious guess is further backed up by the T2 in the model number which could point to the tablet's Tegra 2 processor. Could this be the XOOM - how about a new unannounced tablet, or even a separate Android device? What do you think? Let us know in the comments! [Via Phandroid]
