Droid X2 Hands-On and Unboxing [video]

The war is on! It's time for the qHD battle to begin, and it's begun this morning with no less than a HTC Sensation taking on the DROID X2, and wouldn't you know it, we've got both. Let me introduce you to the newest member of the DROID side - DROID X2! This is a Motorola device that appears at first to be ever so slightly different from the DROID X it replaces - will it be too much for those who love new specs to bear? And what about other phone comparisons? Would you like a couple of pics of the DROID X2 next to the G2x? Sure!

T-Mobile G2x In-Browser Benchmarks

What you're about to see is a few benchmarks, all of them conducted on the browser-based JavaScript benchmark system SunSpider. Inside the post I'll explain a bit better what SunSpider is for everyone who hasn't seen it before, but what you need to know from here is that we're testing both the stock browser and the newest version of Firefox (4) for Android. What you're going to see is the T-Mobile G2x by LG, the HTC ThunderBolt running on Verizon's LTE network, and the ATRIX 4G running on AT&T's HSPA+ network.

HTC Sensation Benchmarks : Quadrant and SunSpider

Well now we've got quite the look at the HTC Sensation (NO LONGER to be known as the HTC Pyramid) as our man in England mister Chris Davies had his hands-on with it and a good look at its inside and outsides. Now what we want is, of course, the benchmarks! Which ones shall we chose? Why, Quadrant and SunSpider of course, we wanna know how fast it's processing AND how fast it's browsing - so lets have at it!

Firefox 4 Android Benchmarks on HTC ThunderBolt and ATRIX 4G

What we've got here are two rather different phones and three sort of similar browsers, the phones running on two rather different carriers and the browsers whose creators would all hope to gain your attention long enough to browse the internet with their application over the competition. What we're using to test out the browsers in question, the newest of which, Firefox 4, was just released today, is a JavaScript Benchmark by the name of SunSpider. It's a sweet test that can test everyone equally.
