Samsung Galaxy Note 3 tipped to launch with an LCD display
Many are anxiously waiting for Samsung to officially unveil the Galaxy S4 so this string of rumors and leaks will come to an end. Of course, what that probably means is the Galaxy Note 3 rumors will simply take the place. That being the case, we have seen a few bits and pieces dealing with the Note 3 and as of today we have a leak that touches on the type of display that Samsung is expected to use.

Samsung shells out $58.9 million for a 5% stake in Wacom
Just in case there had been any doubt as to Samsung's commitment to the stylus, this latest announcement should make it clear. For better or worse, Samsung seems committed to the stylus and they have recently acquired a 5 percent stake in Wacom. Of course, many will realize who Wacom is, they offer the digital drawing tablets and seem to be 'the name' in that particular industry.

Samsung Galaxy Note II S-Pen Airview Hands-on
When Samsung announced their new Galaxy Note II many were excited to see that massive screen, us included. While the original Note phablet seemed too large originally, it sold extremely well (over 10 million) and the Note II is everything it was and more. We've had a change to enjoy another round of hands-on time with the new Note II from Samsung, so decided to capture some of the new features of that S-Pen stylus.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 ad targets business professionals
Ready for some more Galaxy Note 10.1 media? Samsung has released a new 30 second spot for the incoming tablet, and it's aimed squarely at business professionals, with the company obviously hoping to grab a larger percentage of that market thanks to the Galaxy Note 10.1's included stylus. Indeed, the stylus is essentially the main focus of this advertisement, with our clean-cut business hero using it to collect signatures, draw graphs, and give his boss an impromptu presentation on all that he's accomplished in the last 30 seconds.

Galaxy Note 10.1 gets a stylus bay along with processor change
Well how about that - a quad-core Exynos processor isn't the only revision made to Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. According to a couple of pre-release photos spotted by Tablet Community (no relation), it'll also get a slot for the S-Pen stylus built right into its slate body. The lack thereof was definitely noted when the device was revealed at MWC earlier this year, though it now appears that the hardware shown at the show was very early indeed.

Papyrus note app launches with HTC and Lenovo stylus support
With all the styli floating around the Android tablet world, it was only a matter of time before someone made a really excellent notation app for pen-based input. That app is Papyrus, a long-term project from indie developer Steadfast Innovation. The free app introduced its first beta version today, and you can download it on the Google Play Store. While it's technically possible to use standard finger input in Papyrus, it's specifically designed for Android tablets running 3.0 or later with stylus input options.

Olivetti unveils new OliPad’s with Tegra 3 and 8-inch stylus model
While we don't always report on some of the lesser known manufactures, this Italian computer company has been around for more than 100 years and recently started making Android tablets. Last year they released some not so popular OliPad 100, and 110 models with Honeycomb but in 2012 they appear to be taking things up a notch. Offering competition in the quad-core department and the stylus Galaxy Note markets.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tipped via MWC advertising
We'd heard rumblings of larger form factors in Samsung's brand new Galaxy Note family before, but this would seem to seal the deal. A Swedish blogger caught a glimpse of some covered ads prior to Samsung's Mobile World Congress event showing nothing less than the Galaxy Note 10.1, a combination of the ten-inch tablet form factor and Samsung's new pen input hardware and software. There's little to go on at this point beyond the name and a brief, tempting glance at the corner of the device, but there's plenty that can be inferred.
