Tegra 4 tablet, with a decent stylus, and the promise of pure Android? NVIDIA's Tegra Note 7 platform, on sale from today, has plenty of Android aficionados talking, the $199 tablet arriving in the US with EVGA branding but really the brainchild of the chip manufacturer itself. So far Samsung has had the stylus market effectively in a stronghold, but NVIDIA wants to change all that using some Tegra 4 smarts.
NVIDIA dropped an official announcement for the Tegra Note tablet platform back in September. The key words here were tablet platform as NVIDIA will have partners selling the actual hardware. One partner example is ADVENT, who unveiled the Vega Tegra Note 7 last week. Regardless of the partner though, the hardware will remain the same and NVIDIA announced these with a price point of $199.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear is well underway. The handset has been rolling out to various carriers with Verizon Wireless customers getting access to make a purchase as of late last week. Big Red had pre-orders open, however the general availability kicked off on October 10th. As such, we have recently been carrying a Verizon branded Galaxy Note 3 for testing.
Pantech Vega Note may not be getting quite the same attention as the HTC One Max, however it appears as if some new images of the handset have surfaced online. The pics show what is believed to be a 5.9-inch device and confirm a feature that will have it competing directly with another oversized smartphone. The feature is a digital pen and that other handset is the Galaxy Note 3.

That being the case, we have seen a few bits and pieces dealing with the Note 3 and as of today we have a leak that touches on the type of display that Samsung is expected to use.
