Samsung GALAXY S 4 retail availability expands to Staples

Staples has announced availability details for the Samsung GALAXY S 4. The retailer will have the handset available under a few carriers, however the in-store and online availability does vary from carrier to carrier. Simply put, the GALAXY S 4 availability with Staples really just means those interested will have another location to pick from when it comes time to make a purchase.

While we wait for the official word from the carriers, it looks like one retailer has given a rough idea of when we can expect the GALAXY S 4 to begin arriving for sale here in the US market. That retailer is Staples and a recently leaked memo is giving a potential release date for AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless. Take note though, we say potential because the memo makes it clear that these are "tentative" launch dates.

8GB Nexus 7 down to $160 at Staples stores

Shortly before Google announced the 32GB Nexus 7, we heard that the 8GB models were set to become clearance items at the selection of brick and mortar stores where they're sold. Sure enough, that exact scenario appears to be playing out, as Slickdeals is reporting that a number of Staples stores have brought the 8GB Nexus 7 down to just $159.99. Not too bad for a tablet that was once $200.

So we basically know a 32GB Nexus 7 is coming, we just don't quite know when. Most clues point to the October 29th event that Google will be hosting in NYC. Today it appears that ASUS and Google's new 32GB Nexus 7 is already shipping to retailers in the US -- they just cant sell them yet. What is even better is they are priced at $249.

By now, it seems that a 32GB Nexus 7 tablet is all but confirmed, but just in case you aren't convinced that Google is plotting a reveal, Staples has some more evidence for us today. Spotted by Android Police, a listing for a 32GB Nexus 7 has appeared on the Staples Advantage website, giving us even more reason to believe that the tablet exists. The fact that the 32GB Nexus 7 has appeared in a Staples listing isn't the interesting part, though - what's interesting is the model's price.

We are still confused with this bizarre Google Nexus 7 tablet release, but now have multiple confirmations that the device is being shipped from multiple channels across the US and UK. Here in the US Gamestop and Staples are both not able to "sell" the tablet today, but are allowing those who pre-ordered to head down to a store and pickup the tablet, and Ebuyer in the UK shipped multiple out yesterday, and they are arriving this very moment.

Reports have hit the wires this morning about the new Nexus 7 tablet shipping dates. When Google announced the tablet back at Google IO they said it would ship mid-July but now a few online shops have spilled the dates early. Big name stores like Staples are listing July 12th to the 17th for shipping dates.

Just yesterday we were talking about finding good deals on tablets but this $100 off coupon from Staples puts the rest to shame. Currently Staples is offering $100 off any tablet in-store only. They are excluding a few non Android tablets like the HP TouchPad but those don't concern us.

This might be one of those deals where you'd better hurry and call a few local Staples stores or quickly drive on down to one. Apparently they are offering $50 dollars off of the Wi-Fi Motorola Xoom Android 3.1 Honeycomb Tablet and the deal runs until July 9th. In case you aren't good at math that makes the Motorola Xoom only $450. This is the lowest I've seen the Xoom so if you've been waiting for a deal -- this is it.
