Spotify adds Led Zeppelin to streaming ranks

The one and only Led Zeppelin has been added to the extensive libraries of Spotify, allowing in a variety of albums over the next month. Starting today - December 11th, 2013, Led Zeppelin albums will begin to be ushered in with "Led Zeppelin" and "Led Zeppelin II", both from 1969. After that it's December 12th with the release of III and the untitled 4th album, these originally released in 1970 and 1971.

Spotify update finally adds landscape mode, forgets notification controls

Today we have some excellent news for the thousands of you who still use Spotify on Android. The app received a rather nice software update nearly a year ago that changed and improved the entire user interface. However, one major problem was landscape mode was missing. It's safe to say that was a huge oversight for the many people using their phones in landscape car docks and more.

Spotify hits 1 million paid subscribers in US

We have a feeling that some of you like Spotify just as much as we do, because today the company announced a rather big milestone for the music streaming service. Today Spotify CEO Daniel Ek announced that the service has 1 million paid subscribers in the US, which is a pretty big achievement. It gets even better though, as Ek also said that there are 5 million paid subscribers worldwide.
