Almost 3 months after it rolled out to Sony Xperia Z1, Z1 Compact and Z Ultra, Anrdoid KitKat 4.4.4 is finally coming to the other Xperia devices. PS4 Remote Play port now allows feature on all Xperia devices

One of the big things about the Xperia Z3 family that Sony announced at IFA 2014 – that is the Xperia Z3 flagship device, the Xperia Z3 Compact, and the Xperia Z3 Tablet – is the PS4 Remote Play feature. Four camera apps to come with Sony Xperia Z3

The phone camera has evolved from just being a simple, bonus accessory to an essential part of the smartphone’s unique selling proposition. And it’s not just about having higher megapixels and features, but to what else you can do with it that you can’t do with other smartphones. The newly-launched Sony Xperia Z3 wants to get ahead of everyone else with four camera apps for their “smart social camera” that aim to revolutionise how we take pictures and videos.

T-Mobile to bring Sony Xperia Z3 to US by end of 2014

No matter how excellent a smartphone is, if any of the US carriers don’t make them available, then residents won’t be able to experience the device. That has been one of the problems of Japanese OEM Sony as they have not experienced much support from local carriers in the region. But now T-Mobile has confirmed that they will be carrying the latest flagship of Sony, the Xperia Z3, which was recently launched before the start of IFA 2014 in Berlin.

Sony lens cameras back on center stage with new QX30 and QX1

Aside from producing smartphones, Japanese OEM Sony once upon a time also were pretty famous for their digital cameras. Now they’re merging the two once again as they announced the “rebirth” of their lens camera by introducing two new models: the QX30 and the E-mount QX1. The two can work on their own as high-powered cameras or they can be attached to your smartphone or tablet to give it a much needed megapixel boost.
