Sony did hit up Twitter with mention of both Android 4.4 Kit Kat and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean earlier this morning. There was mention of them being excited, however the they went on to say they will not be revealing anything additional until sometime next week. The details are expected to include "news on: 4.3, 4.4; products and more."

Sony is now confirming that owners of its new console will be able to experience the added power of the Playstation app for Android late next month, depending on their region.
Sony has recently detailed an update for the SmartWatch 2. This one is already available for download and sitting with the promise of improved performance. Specifically, Sony has said this update should improve the homescreen swiping experience. And in a bit of good news, the update should arrive without anything needed from the user.
Sony may be ready to include wireless charging on all of their mobile devices in 2014, which is pretty stellar by itself. Coupled with information that Sony may have found a way to make wireless charging quicker, we’ve got some really interesting technology to look forward to.
Sony originally announced the SmartWatch 2 back in June and at the time it was said the watch would be arriving in the third-quarter of the year. Well, it looks like the time has come for a US release. Sony has announced the immediate US availability for the SmartWatch 2 and users will be able to pick it up direct with Sony or with "other" online retailers.
