More Sony Xperia devices receiving Android Lollipop update

We earlier reported that Sony has started rolling out (finally!) Android 5.0 Lollipop to the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 compact to mobile users in the Baltics and the Nordics. Now some sites have reported seeing the firmware build in other Xperia devices as well, like the Xperiz Z2, as well as the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact and Xperia Z2 Tablet. But they are being updated only to Android 5.0.2 and not yet to the 5.1 that some Nexus devices already have.

Sony Xperia Z4 leaked renders show unmistakable Sony design

Since Sony, and LG for that matter, didn't reveal any new flagship at MWC 2015 early this month, the mobile world awaits with bated breath what these manufacturers have in store for us when the time comes. While details on the soon to be Xperia Z4 are still slim, a few 3D renders of what is supposedly the upcoming Sony smartphone have leaked out. Unlike LG's promise to make the G4 different from its predecessors, the Xperia Z4 doesn't seem willing to change, whether you like it or not.

First VAIO Phone revealed, puzzling specs and price

VAIO and Japan Communications Inc. have finally revealed the full details of the first ever VAIO Phone. Those, however, who have been eagerly awaiting the kind of phone that would come out of what was once Sony's PC business will most likely walk away with their heads down. The VAIO Phone, as it is named, bears a mix of mid-range specs paired with an almost high price tag that doesn't seem to match. Furthermore, the design isn't even VAIO's own and it simply took one from an ODM that is already used by Panasonic.

Sony releases Stereo Bluetooth Headset SBH70

When it comes to audio accessories, Sony has created some pretty respectable ones, and you don't even have to rob a bank in order to get them (read: reasonably priced). Their latest headphones, the Stereo Bluetooth Headset SBH70, is a water-resistant and lightly-built wireless headset that promises to bring you the "superior Sony sound quality" and is being positioned as the perfect accessory to the Xperia M4 Aqua, Xperia E4, and Xperia Z3 Compact.

Sony Mobile to release Lollipop for Xperia Z next week

Sony Mobile is set to roll out Android 5.0 Lollipop software update for the rest of the Xperia Z line. This is something expected since we mentioned yesterday that the sweet version is exclusive for Xperia Z series and sadly, nothing for the non-Xperia Z phones. Sony made it clear the other day that it won't be upgrading non-Xperia Z phones to Lollipop, much to the chagrin of owners. We'll never know the reason of the company but you know there's always a way around for that.

Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet ads: don’t make light of it

Sony may not have unveiled a new Xperia Z4 smartphone at MWC last week, which all the more confounded many industry observers, but it wants everyone to know that it still means serious business in the mobile market. That is why with its video ads for the Xperia Z4 Tablet, it is emphasizing on two different yet complementary features. The tablet claims to be the world's thinnest and lightest 10-inch slab, and it is precisely because of it's portability that makes it ideal for mobile warriors.

Possible Sony Xperia Z4 front housing leaked, no waterproofing

Now that we’re over the MWC 2015 chaos, maybe it’s time to put our attention to the devices that will be coming up within the year, more specifically, Sony’s new flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z4. There was a crazy rumor that it was going to be unveiled in January – so soon after the launch of the Xperia Z3 – but that proved false. In fact, it didn’t launch as expected at the MWC as well.

Make your PlayStation Portable look like it’s on Lollipop

At the moment, we do not know of any way to make your Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) run on Android, which is a sad, sad thing. But we found the next best thing – at least get it looking like it’s on Android! So much fun, right? Well, it is the best we can do right now, guys, so just run with it.
