Sony Xperia Z is still a relatively new handset. In fact, while not a brand new announcement from Sony, as we recently saw with T-Mobile, the handset is still new to some. But with that in mind it looks like talk of the successor is heating up. This latest chatter is coming Sony Korea CEO Kenji Sakai who has said the handset will debut later this year.
Sony announced the Xperia Z Ultra towards the end of June and almost immediately after dropped a pair of teaser videos on YouTube. The channel had been quite since, however it looks like the latest Xperia Z Ultra teaser video has appeared. This one has arrived showing off what Sony is calling "efficiency in an ultra slim smartphone."

Basically, it seems as if Sony has removed the beta tag and they will have it available for all 2012/2013 Xperia devices sometime over the "next few weeks."

Sony Xperia ZU leaks up until this point and as of today it looks like a few additional images have surfaced. This latest leak is offering a clear look at both the front and the back of the device. The Xperia ZU has also been dubbed the Xperia Z Ultra and that goes to speak about the size of the phone itself.
