Sony Xperia Neo comes out of the shadows on April 19th
With all the buzz going to it's more "playful" brother, the Xperia Neo has kinda gotten lost in the shadows. But now it seems it's bursting back out in it's own light come April 19th. That's the day that Sony Ericcson will launch the Neo in Europe with a price of £299 + VAT.

Sony-Ericsson’s Xperia Arc and Neo seen in action
Here's a video of the Sony Xperia Arc and Xperia Neo being taken through their thumb paces at a Press Conference in Copenhagen. Looking at the video, it's pretty clear just how snappy the interface is in both handsets. The phones are comfortable to hold thanks to their curved in design and the menus flip by at lightning pace. The video also shows a size comparison of both cameras along side the LG Optimus X2.

Sony Ericsson Arc System Dump in the Wild
For those of you that love Sony Ericsson and may have a x10, or any of their other Android phones. This might have some juicy stuff for you to use and enjoy. The amazing dev's over at XDA-Developers have pulled a system dump of the Xperia Arc. Things of this nature usually contain all the files you would typically want, and now you can get them and enjoy it on your other Sony Ericsson phone.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 gets Gingerbread courtesy of Arc
Sony Ericsson may have abandoned Android OS update plans for the XPERIA X10, but that doesn't mean the modding community is done with the smartphone. Over at xda-developers, TripNRaVeR has fashioned nothing less than Android 2.3 Gingerbread for the X10, based on the version running on the XPERIA Arc. So far, the list of what's working far outnumbers what isn't, though the ROM download is currently offline so that sound support can be added in. Still, network, data, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and Sony Ericsson's Timescape all work as expected.

Sony-Ericsson Xperia Ultimate concept emerges
There's a new concept phone called the Sony-Ericsson Xperia Ultima, and judging by the size, it'll be a typical Android upgrade to a tried and true Sony design. Along with what looks like a 4.3" Reality Display multi-touch screen powered by Sony's proprietary Mobile BRAVIA® Engine, specs presumably include a 1GHz processor inside, with 16GB of onboard internal memory. Additionally, the Ultima will sport a 12.1 megapixel camera capable of HD capture thanks to Sony's Exmor R sensor. The Ultima will likely run Android 2.4 (Gingerbread) with Sony's well-developed Timescape social interface.

Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play to get extra attention at GDC 2011
Back at Mobile World Congress 2011 Sony Ericsson officially announced the Xperia Play. Dubbed the "Playstation Phone" it has been leaked time and time again and still looks to be a killer device. Especially for those Android Gamers. Come next week at Game Developers Conference 2011 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, the Xperia PLAY will most likely get some extra attention during two special GDC sessions featuring Kim Ahlstrom. He leads Sony Ericsson’s Platform Software Development team.

Sony Ericsson Zento Android Concept has Barely an Edge

Sony Ericsson Zento Android Concept has Barely an Edge
We've recently become addicted to conceptual design in Android devices, and we've found that the fountain scarcely runs try. The following concept is known as the Sony Ericsson Zento, an Android smartphone by Frank Tobias. If this phone were to ever take fruition, it would be one bad mother. Oddly enough, this badness starts with Android 3.0 Honeycomb which, as you know is optimized for tablets, not smartphones. On the other hand, this device has a 4.4 in touchscreen, so perhaps the size qualifies.

New Xperia Neo images leak
New images have leaked for Sony Ericsson's XPeria Neo and it looks to be a pretty nice Android headset. As highlighted in a recent Neo Hands on that popped up a few days ago, the Neo comes stacked with a 1Ghz Qualcomm processor, 4 inch LED backlit touchscreen, 512 MB RAM and the same Adreno 205 GPU as the Xperia Play.  Additionally, the Neo will use a large 8 MP camera with LED flash and will also record HD video in 720p, as well a a front facing 2 MP camera for video chat.

Xperia Neo Hands on with Gareth Beavis
Someone has their hands on a brand new Sony Ericsson XPERIA Neo and their name is Gareth Beavis of Tech Radar. This is one of several XPERIA phones coming out in the near future from Sony Ericsson, two more being the XPERIA Arc and XPERIA Play (aka PlayStation phone.) Is a lineup of some giant magnitude like the team they've got coming out soon enough to keep Sony Ericsson in the green with Android fans?
