With their highly popular quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro being the king of the latter half of 2012, they're back with two brand new and improved quad-core Snapdragon's for 2013. Today the folks from Qualcomm have posted some annual and quarterly earning reports that were quite impressive. Not only did they release their Q4 financial results, but also their entire 2012 fiscal year -- which is up 28% year-over-year actually. It's time again for Google to take command of a smartphone with the Nexus 4, a device manufactured by LG with software pure vanilla Android - a collaboration creating yet another true member of the Nexus family. This device is made to bring on the next version of Android, that being 4.2 Jelly Bean (the second iteration of the software still code-named Jelly Bean) complete with the updates you see in our full update guide. Rigonauts announced as Snapdragon exclusive with Verizon
Verizon and Snapdragon just announced that Android phones on Verizon will be the first to get access to Rigonauts. The new game, developed by Engient, will be exclusive to Verizon customers for a two-week period from 10/9 through 10/23. After that, the game will be available on the Google Play app store for everyone. The game is Snapdragon optimized, so it will only work on devices with these types of processors installed.

The HTC One X for AT&T is a different beast from the original (international) release in two rather important ways. First it's got a completely different processor, made by Qualcomm instead of NVIDIA, and second here it's carried by AT&T on a 2-year contract in the USA. Will this non-international release stir up the same positive reactions we had to the first release of this super hero phone, or are the two changes we're seeing here in software and hardware going to push this device in the wrong direction entirely?

Ice Cream Sandwich is finally going to be available to AT&T customers and it is going to be packaged in a premium phone. HTC will be the host for this OS and with the HTC One X it intends to make a statement. Originally slated to be released on May 6 for $199 (with 2 year contract), it can be scooped up at Radio Shack for the amazing price of $149. This is a special pricing by Radio Shack is on pre-orders only. The price goes back up to $199 after the release.

Qualcomm posts $4.9 billion in revenue for Q2 – Up 28%
It's that time of the quarter again where everyone is posting up their earnings reports and going over the numbers. Google just posted theirs and today Qualcomm has announced their earnings report, showing a pretty great Q2 of 2012. These results already have plenty of sales from their new Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor for upcoming phones like the HTC One S, but with it barely hitting the streets surely Q3 will look even better.
