CyanogenMod delivers Google Voice messages to stock message app

If you happen to be a Google Voice user and running CyanogenMod there is now a way to have all your messages delivered through the stock messaging app. Or for that matter, have those Google Voice text messages delivered to the third party messaging app of your choice. What did that first text message say? Simply "Merry Christmas."

Big time SMS spammers hit with massive fine

All of us hate getting spam text messages and calls, but unfortunately they're everywhere. It doesn't matter which platform you choose - Android, BlackBerry, iOS, Windows Phone - there's a decent chance you've had to deal with spam text messages before. Luckily, today we're seeing one European watchdog group do something about it, dropping a very large fine on two SMS spammers who have been very, very busy.
