Android Community and SlashGear on Google Currents — A new way to view your favorite site

Google has just announced their new Google Currents project. In case you aren't familiar with Currents that link should have all the details. This is basically a magazine-esque format RSS reader application only with a better UI and an overall awesome experience. It's a new way to browse and read your favorite sites and RSS feeds and hey, Android Community and SlashGear are both already in Currents -- Check us out!

Samsung Galaxy Note review via SlashGear

The Samsung Galaxy Note is definitely one of the most exciting devices headed to the market right now, and one of SlashGear's UK editors got a hold of the smartphone-tablet for a full, in-depth review. Lenovo IdeaPad K1 On Sale Now for $500 USD

With shipments going out on August 1st, Lenovo's newest effort in a rather rounded Android 3.1 Honeycomb tablet will be going on sale today. This device has several different models coming down the pipeline while only the 32GB model is available for sale right this moment. That said, you've got a couple color options available as well in the basic pack, that being white and silver or red and silver - this is amongst a few other color combinations that'll be available down the line, each of these combinations with a slightly different tactile feel for your fingers on the back of the device.
