Slacker Radio 4.0 update attracted 6 million new listeners

Slacker Radio rolled-out a redesign back in mid-February. The redesign touched on both the mobile and desktop sides and as anyone who was listening before and after will realize, there was plenty of changes in terms of looks and functionality. Anyway, while it has only been roughly three months since that update, it seems the folks at Slacker Radio have attracted plenty of new users.

The Slacker Radio has recently been updated and while we are fans of the new look and new design, we will offer the warning up front -- if you are really loving your currently installed version of the app, you may want to hold off on this update. While the core features of the app seem to have remained the same, the look and feel has been given a complete overhaul. You can get a look at that in the image below, even the app icon has undergone a dramatic change.

Slacker Radio for Android will stream all 67 NCAA Tournament games free

March Madness is here and it's time to get into the NCAA Basketball Tournament mood. If you wont be able to watch many, or any of the NCAA Tournament games this month don't worry because Slacker Radio has you covered. They recently announced a partnership with Dial Global and to kick things off will be streaming all 67 games of the NCAA Championship tournament completely free.
