For those of you wishing to get a whole heck of a lot of battery life out of their smartphones, your time has arrived. If there's one system that's working right now that, besides is obvious added bulk, will make your smartphone into a easy day's worth of workhorse at least, that being PowerSkin rubberized case and smartphone battery charger attachment. What PowerSkin offers you is a bit of protection and one whole heck of a lot of additional battery power in the form of a constant charger. You plug the microUSB in the slot, slip the smartphone in the skin/case, and you're on your way. You're able to go about your day as per normal then, charging the charger and the device up with a new port that you'll see coming out the side of the charger, and a powering you shall go!

Ever since we first saw and experienced the massiveness of the battery extension for the HTC ThunderBolt, it's been a bit of an issue for the Android public to rectify the extending of said battery in the ThunderBolt and in every other Android whose connection speed and/or abilities to provide excellent day to day Android awesomeness have left their users in low battery water. Therefor it's nice to see that PowerSkin has stepped up to the plate with a couple of "skins" that'll boost the power AND leave room for the uniqueness of two of our favorite devices in the Android world: the ThunderBolt and the Sensation!

So everyone has started to get their new and awesome HTC Thunderbolts over the last week or so. I'm sure you all love it. For those like me that always want to tinker, or change how things look we have a little treat for you. A XDA member by the name of sopL87 has made a huge collection of unique and nice looking skins for your Sense 2.0 device. They work on the Thunderbolt as well as the Desire HD and basically any Sense 2.0 device. Here are a few of my favorite.

Besides the Droid X being unveiled today in New York, this car dock made an appearance as well. Naturally, a device of this caliber will have a slew of accessories. Not only is this dock a multimedia cradle but it has scratch guards and it can charge the phone. This dock will cost $39.99 and will put the device in the new dashboard UI that is a new component of MotoBlur.

One of the new features that was introduced to Android with the release of the Nexus One and Android 2.1 was the voice to text input. This feature has now been duplicated and is available now for all Android devices. The folks over at Better Android has just released Better Keyboard V5.0.
