OUYA consoles shipping at full speed, expected to be complete by May

Today the folks from OUYA took a moment to inform all of their loyal fans, buyers, and backers that production has continued to pick up the pace and starting next week will hit full steam. After getting a few initial shipments and developer units out lately today they've confirmed starting next week they'll be producing, packing, and shipping OUYA consoles 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Nexus 4 shipping times delayed into 2013

Yesterday the folks from Mountain View put their LG Nexus 4 smartphone up for sale on the Google Play Store for the second time in two weeks, and it sold out pretty much just as fast as the first round. Google's new Nexus is either extremely popular and seeing an unaccounted for demand, or they need some serious work on their sales skills. The Play Store became almost unusable as Google warned users they still had stock, and to keep trying as it was experiencing a heavy load. Now lets talk shipping.

Nexus 7 officially “in stock” on the Play Store – shipping now

This is probably a bit confusing for some but today Google has changed the status of the Nexus 7 on the Google Play Store. Previously it was listed for pre-order and "shipping in 1-2 weeks." Today however Google's changed that to actually "In Stock" and that it will ship instantly. This is only the 8GB version, as the 16GB actual got pushed back from 1-2 weeks to 3-4 weeks earlier today.

At the tail end of last week Google finally started shipping orders of their new and impressive Nexus 7 tablet to those who ordered from the Play Store. Along with several retailers like Gamestop, Staples, and Sam's Club. Today however Google's own Play Store has now changed their shipping status for the 16GB version from 1 week, to 3-4 weeks.

Last week was all about Google's new Nexus 7 tablet, and it appears this week might sing a similar tune. The tablet started shipping from a few UK retailers early last week, then hit the U.S. in a flood from Staples, Gamestop, and then Google. They confirmed all pre-orders would ship within 3 business days. Today however the same could be starting for the UK.

Nexus 7 sells out nationwide at most retailers

Google's brand new flagship Nexus 7 tablet has officially launched today. It started shipping yesterday from various UK retailers, Gamestop in the US started sending out confirmations that those who pre-ordered could pick theirs up, and Google's Play Store has begun shipping all pre-orders as of this afternoon. We are now seeing multiple retailers and sites across the US already selling out -- which is a good sign for Google but a bad sign if you haven't ordered one yet.

Good news folks. We have just been notified that all Google Play Store Nexus 7 pre-orders are shipping now!!! No need to get out the pitchforks because Gamestop didn't follow the rules. We are still confused with this bizarre Google Nexus 7 tablet release, but now have multiple confirmations that the device is being shipped from multiple channels across the US and UK. Here in the US Gamestop and Staples are both not able to "sell" the tablet today, but are allowing those who pre-ordered to head down to a store and pickup the tablet, and Ebuyer in the UK shipped multiple out yesterday, and they are arriving this very moment.

Nexus 7 orders could be shipping in the UK already [Update]

This is some interesting news. Sadly Google isn't known for selling hardware, so their support and communication seems to be a bit lacking. Everyone who pre-ordered the brand new impressive Nexus 7 quad-core Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet still doesn't know when it will actually arrive. Today however it appears some pre-orders are "prepared for shipment" or have actually shipped -- just not from Google.
