Sega had announced some upcoming Android game releases back in late-October and it looks like the first title has arrived in the Play Store. The game is Sonic The Hedgehog 2, which should be a good option for those who are fans of classic gaming. In fact, Sega is touting this one as being a re-mastered version of "one of the greatest adventures of all time."
Sega is no stranger to the Play Store, and as of today it looks like another game has been released. This latest is called Sonic Dash and it has arrived as an endless runner title. Specifically, Sonic Dash has arrived as the first endless runner style game featuring Sonic the Hedgehog.
Sega has announced some upcoming game releases for Android. The titles include Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Sonic The Hedgehog 2. Gameloft or Zombie Gunship aren't your type of fun, we have another excellent title to talk about today. The great folks over at SEGA have just released Sonic & SEGA All-Star Racing to the Google Play Store for nearly all of our Android devices. Yes! It isn't quite Mario Kart, but it will have to do.
Asphalt 8: Airborne. Since it isn't out yet, how about a little Dreamcast nostalgia for your weekend Android gaming with Crazy Taxi. The smashing hit from the days of old is finally on Android, and you'll want to give it a try.
Sonic the Hedgehog was the first game I ever played at the ripe old age of five, and since then, there have been a lot of ups and downs. Thankfully, the series seems to be on the upswing lately, with titles like Sonic Generations, Sonic Colors, and Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed doing surprisingly well with critics and fans alike. Sonic's latest appearance is in Sonic Jump, a new vertical platformer that launched last week on Android. Does this new title keep Sega's string of good Sonic releases going? Do we dare hope?
Sonic fans take note, because Sega has just released a new game called Sonic Jump on the Google Play Store. One look at the title and you're likely to know right away what kind of game this is - it's a vertical platformer in the vein of Doodle Jump, a game that was extremely popular a while back. Here we've got the same basic premise, only this time, it features everyone's favorite blue hedgehog and his friends.
Google Play Store. Players have been looking forward to this port for quite some time, with Sega announcing the Android version way back in July. It's here at last, and it's got a fresh coat of high resolution paint to boot.
