Android Ice Cream Sandwich Screenshots Leaked?

What we have just seen is said to be first screenshots of Android Ice Cream Sandwich, the next version of Google's OS. While this entire thing is just breaking and we haven't had the time to look ever them closely things are looking pretty tasty from here. These appear to be early beta builds of Android on the Google Nexus S. Some early reports from RootzWiki are claiming these are 100% legit and real screenshots but we will just let you decide.

Some new leaked information from some anonymous tipsters is suggesting that Sony is prepping a few nice handsets to be released soon. The main leaked device is codenamed "Nozomi" and should be available sometime in November. The details and specs are the important part as this leak suggests Sony Ericsson will be getting a pretty nice handset. The model number listed was SO-02D and the specs leaked are after the break.

Native Screen Shots Coming to CyanogenMod

I love CyanogenMod. Its the ROM I've been running on my poor little Aria since the day I got it, and thanks to CM that poor little Aria has done things AT&T never dreamed of. The great thing about CyanogenMod is that as a community driven and supported project, new features are being added all the time, and via Google+, Cyanogen himself has announced a few new ones worth getting excited about.

Samsung Galaxy S II Built-in screen capture, no root required

For a while now most android phones could only capture what was on-screen using different tools, or applications and many required root access first. Apps like drocap, shootme, or Screenshot ER. Lately the outcry for this to be a stock feature has been answered by a few OEM's. First the LG Optimus and G2x got it, read about that here. Then we recently discovered it was also on the Droid Charge as well. We now can tell you the Samsung Galaxy S II also has a stock built-in screen capture feature.

Android 3.0 Honeycomb gets a Screenshot App

For those that use these kind of apps or have been around lately to notice that we didn't have one. The Motorola Xoom and any Android 3.0 Honeycomb device in general could not take screenshots with an app. There is drocap2, ShootMe and many other screen capture apps for our Android phones and apparently none of them worked on Android 3.0 but now a developer from the XDA forums named ftgg99 has fixed this issue for us. He has developed an app called Screenshot ER.

Shadow is now Droid X?

Lately this has been the most leaked upcoming Android phone around the web. Out of all the leaked pictures and information, there hasn’t been any solid evidence of any of these claims until now. Our friend over at Phandroid has just received a few new screenshots of the highly anticipated Motorola Shadow. First off, the new name is Droid X, this is a change from Droid Xtreme that we‘ve heard in recent leaks of the device.

HTC Intruder Heading To AT&T? (Rumor)

First it was the Aria then the Liberty now the Intruder could be making its way to AT&T.  Are these 3 HTC devices the same? Nobody knows at this point, AT&T could be on an all out Android assault now that they are done with the iPhone presentation.

Froyo on the Motorola Droid?

Pictures emerged a short while ago of Froyo runni98ng on the Motorola droid. We already received confirmation from Motorola that the Droid would indeed receive the update to Android 2.2 but none of thought it would come this soon. Ok, this is by no means an official update running on this Droid, in fact it may not be Froyo at all.

T-Mobile Garminfone Coming June 2nd?

The only thing left now is confirmation from T-Mobile but this phone is pretty much a lock for a June 2nd release. If you’ve heard that date before it’s because the myTouch 3G Slide will be releasing on the same day. Engadget received this leaked screenshot of the Android powered Garmiphone. This screen not only outs the pricing for this handset but also the release date.
