Samsung announces first 128 GB memory based on UFS 2.0 spec

Mobile CPUs and GPUs have becoming faster and, with the introduction of LPDDR4, so is RAM. That leaves internal storage or flash memory as the bottleneck of a device's performance. Well, not anymore, at least if Samsung's promises are to be believed. The manufacturer has just revealed a memory chip that is claimed to be the industry's first 128 GB capacity flash storage that adheres to the not exactly new Universal Flash Storage 2.0 standard that promises SSD speeds at the power consumption level of eMMC.

With this Paranoid Android build, the Galaxy S3 can start experiencing some Lollipop goodness – with a few bugs here and there.

Samsung’s floating ToolBox now out for all Android devices

When describing Samsung’s proprietary apps, we could most likely use the term “hit or miss”. There are some Samsung apps (and features) that just defy logic. And then there are some that are so useful you begin to think how you’ll survive without it. The floating toolbox app on the Samsung Galaxy S5 was an app that tended to be on the latter – it was useful enough that you immediately notice that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 doesn’t have it (what’s up with that Samsung?). So enter this new app.
