Samsung is on something of a roll with its Android tablets, pumping out three different sizes in the space of a year. Twelve months on from the original 7-inch Galaxy Tab comes the Galaxy Tab 7.7, packing a slightly larger display, higher resolution and faster, 1.4GHz dual-core processor. Perhaps more important for ultramobile users is the reduced size and weight, however. Read on for our hands-on impressions.

We haven't heard anything regarding a 7.7" Galaxy Tab until just recently when someone spotted the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 name in the new Samsung Unpacked App. So far that is all we know but don't worry we will be finding out plenty more this next week at IFA in Berlin. We might even see a new Galaxy S II at IFA if we're lucky.

Despite Apple's frivolous attempts to block the Samsung Galaxy Tab in many markets such as Australia and even the entire European Union, it appears that sales will surge forward in both areas according to recent news. First we saw the sales might be halted in Australia but quickly learned they will continue as planned and go on sale shortly.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Touch Wiz UX Updated Halted?

This is a bit of random news that is for sure. Apparently Samsung has halted the rollout of the recently released Touch Wiz UX update for the Galaxy Tan 10.1 Wi-fi tablet. It started hitting devices sometime last week but it appears they might have found a few bugs and are now temporarily halting the update to assess the problem.

Today the popular invisible shield and screen protector maker ZAGG that I'm sure most of you have used in the past have just released their new portable keyboard for Android devices. This new keyboard will support a very wide array of mobile devices including those iDevice things but we won't mention those here. Best Buy Takes Tablets Seriously with Massive Floor Setting

Starting this week in earnest, Best Buy will be revolutionizing the way you see tablets. That is, they're dedicating quite a bit of floor space to the cause, and you're not going to be able to see the laptops and the desktop computers without first having to get through the tablet gallery. We have seen our fair share of Android devices running Ubuntu already, like the Nexus S or the NOOKcolor but to see it running on that large beautiful 10" display on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and pushed by that dual-core CPU makes this a little more interesting.
