Samsung, in an effort to add more product to the already dizzying aray of variety on hand within their portfolio, is supposedly hard at work on a new 12.2 inch Note Tablet. Could this be the oft-rumored but never seen 11.6 inch tablet they've been working on, albeit in le grande size?
rumors and leaks had been suggesting that Samsung was looking towards Intel for the 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 3. While Samsung has yet to come forward with an official announcement, there has been some follow up and this time around we are hearing about Samsung and Intel from both Reuters and the Korea Times. Granted, that doesn't mean this is all official, but it certainly does lend some credibility to those earlier rumors.
Samsung has yet to reveal the 8.0 and 10.1-inch varieties of the Galaxy Tab 3, however that doesn't seem to have stopped one retailer from listing both models. Samsung. Some had believed the announcement was going to happen during Mobile World Congress, but as we now know, that was not the case. Anyway, while it would be nice to talk of word from Samsung, it looks like we have additional details coming from a recently discovered Bluetooth SIG filing.
Samsung GT-P8200 tablet, however thanks to a recent Bluetooth SIG filing we may now have an idea of where this particular tablet is heading. According to the report, the geographic availability is Europe. Granted, that does not necessarily mean we will not see this model in other regions, however it looks destined to arrive first for those in Europe.
Samsung will officially unveil the tablet during Mobile World Congress. These benchmarks are shown as being for the GT-P3200, which is codenamed Santos. Of course, as we have seen in previous leaks, the P3200 is only one of a few possible Galaxy Tab 3 tablet variants.
Samsung was planning to release a 7-inch and 10.1-inch model. And then more recently, we saw the image leak which was showing the Galaxy Tab 3 box along with a look at the front of the tablet. Those bits aside, it looks like some new details have surfaced by way of the UAProf.
