Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Student Edition arrives as a keyboard and dock bundle

Getting a slight jump on the back to school season, Samsung has officially released a "Student Edition" of the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet. This is essentially a bundle pack that includes the tablet along with a desktop dock and Bluetooth keyboard. And in addition to the bit of extra hardware that ships with the tablet, Samsung also has some app related perks for those planning a purchase.

T-Mobile Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 update arrives with LTE support

T-Mobile had briefly mentioned they would be updating the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet in the "coming weeks." That update was promising to bring LTE connectivity for the tablet and well, we have to say we were a bit surprised to see that update come available so quickly. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 image leak reveals a new color

Assuming these leaked images and details prove to be accurate, it looks like Samsung is planning to roll-out an updated Galaxy Tab 2 in 2013. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 arrive at AT&T

If you're an AT&T customer who has been holding out for either the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 or the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, then good news, because both devices are available today in AT&T stores. Starting today you can pick up the handset that has taken the world of smartphones by storm with 3 million units sold since launch. Pretty impressive when you consider that the Galaxy Note 2 only launched back at the end of September.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 rooted

Ah, root. It's a sort of coming-of-age test for an Android device, in that brief (and sometimes nonexistent) gap between a phone's retail release and the point at which the modder community beats it into software submission. The time has come for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, the mild refresh to one of the most successful 10-inch Android tablets out there. Thanks to the folks at XDA, you can now get both root permissions and a custom recovery on your shiny new tablet.
