AT&T Galaxy S4 Zoom available today

As expected, AT&T has launched the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom today. This makes AT&T the first US carrier to launch the handset, though as of this time there hasn't been much chatter about the Galaxy S4 Zoom coming to other carriers. Still, there was no mention of exclusivity so the possibility remains. That said, for now the carrier offering the Galaxy S4 Zoom is AT&T and they have it priced at $199.99.

AT&T Galaxy S4 zoom availability begins November 8

There had been some rumors suggesting the Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom was heading to AT&T and as of this morning, the release has been made official. AT&T will be the first US carrier to launch the handset and they will have it available later this week, on November 8. While AT&T is launching the handset this week, Samsung originally announced it back in June. Basically, this is a variant of the Galaxy S 4 with a highlight being the camera.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom LTE launches in Europe

Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy S4 Zoom LTE for those in Europe. This model, with the exception of the newly added LTE support, will bring the same set of specs we saw when the handset was originally announced back in June. We still need some carrier announcements, however Samsung has said the Galaxy S4 Zoom LTE will be available with a "variety of networks."

OPPO N-lens camera phone renderings surface

Details are still scarce regarding OPPO's rumored new line of devices and already a pair of images have appeared that gives fuel to the rumors. Although the images are just renderings, they could provide some insight as to the direction that OPPO might be taking its next camera-centric device.

Plenty of people seem to rely on their smartphone for pictures these days. The catch is, those same people are often wishing for better and better cameras on their smartphone. Samsung has the Galaxy S 4 Zoom which is not only a full smartphone, but also a rather full-featured camera. While it would appear the Galaxy S 4 Zoom would be a good fit for this group, the question remains; Will people be willing to carry a device that looks like a camera on one side and a smartphone on the other?
