Samsung to add Smart Scroll and Smart Pause features with Android 4.2.1

It appears as if Samsung will be releasing a few new features in an upcoming update. The features are Smart Scroll and Smart Pause, a few that have been talked about recently. The key here, while these were believed to be coming with the release of the Galaxy S IV -- it now looks like they will be available for at least one other Samsung device.

With the Galaxy S III being the most successful Android phone to date, there's still one reoccurring complaint from many - and that's the plastic feel. Will Samsung ditch that this time around? The Samsung Galaxy S4 has been in the news a lot the past few days, and this evening we're getting even more details. After some benchmarks were shown off earlier today, a new leak has been revealed from the reliable and highly accurate @evleaks showing what appears to be a fat Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone. These are just renders, and nothing fancy at that, but still worth taking a look at.

The folks from Samsung have plenty up their sleeve in the software department to make this the most advanced Galaxy device yet. A new feature is being outed today called 'Eye Scrolling" and it sounds pretty neat.

We know Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy S IV on March 14, however aside from rumors, leaked benchmarks and other unofficial details, there is not much that is officially known about the handset. Samsung has recently dropped a teaser video ahead of the Unpacked event, however it keeps to the point of being a teaser. In other words, it builds some additional hype without revealing any additional details.

We are still expecting Samsung to announce the Galaxy S IV on March 14. In fact, Samsung recently announced the Times Square event that will allow anyone to watch the livestream of the actual announcement. Putting that date aside, the rumors seem to have slowed down, however they have not stopped entirely. To this we have a bit more today dealing with the internal storage, exterior colors and processor.

We had already seen the press invite for the Samsung Unpacked event on March 14. Given the use of the "4" and based on the countless rumors and leaks, it seems to go without saying that this will be for the unveiling of the Galaxy S IV. Press invite aside though, Samsung has recently invited everyone to see the announcement. Based on the invite that was posted on the Samsung Mobile Twitter account, the company will also be holding an event in Times Square.

The Samsung Galaxy S IV smartphone is still a bit of a mystery for now, but we'll be learning all the details on March 14th for the official Samsung Unpacked Event. While we wait, a few more rounds of rumors are beginning to surface that has our interest piqued. New reports state the US model will be powered by Qualcomm's quad-core Snapdragon 600 series processor, while the Europe model will enjoy that new 8-core chip from Samsung.

The folks from Samsung will officially be announcing and unveiling the Galaxy S IV flagship superphone on March 14th at their Samsung Unpacked in New York City. We've been hearing a few different dates tossed around lately, and March 14th has been confirmed from multiple sources. However, today in Spain during the Mobile World Congress event they begun sending out invites for Unpacked.
