Battery test shows T-Mobile devices last longer than rivals

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s got the longest battery life of them all? When it comes to Android devices of the Top 4 carriers in the US, the winner seems to be T-Mobile. The test was conducted using the Android app Laptop Mag Battery Test and used four smartphones from Samsung and HTC, one each from the top carriers. The conclusion is that the devices from T-Mobile have the longest average battery life among all those tested.

Exynos 5 Octa not coming to UK Samsung GALAXY S 4

Here's some very disappointing news for those of you living in the UK. The UK version of the Samsung GALAXY S 4 will not be carrying Samsung's highly anticipated Exynos 5 Octa processor, but instead will be coming with a 1.9GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor. This news has been confirmed by Samsung, and there may be a possibility that several other markets will find their S 4's shipping with a Snapdragon 600 as well.

LG claims Samsung infringed on its eye-tracking patent

LG and Samsung are looking to go to war not only in the mobile phone marketplace, but in the courtroom as well. LG claims that Samsung has infringed on its eye-tracking patent with its Samsung GALAXY S 4. The Samsung GALAXY S 4 has the "Smart Pause" feature that pauses videos when your eyes aren't looking at your phone's screen. When it detects that your eyes are looking back onto the screen, it will resume playback.

There's no doubt that the Samsung GALAXY S 4 is the most highly anticipated phones of the year, but how does it compare to the other phones on the market? Primate Labs decided to answer that question by performing a series of benchmarks. They benchmarked the Samsung Galaxy S 4, HTC One, LG Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy S III (international and United States versions), Blackberry Z10, and of course the iPhone 5.

Samsung Galaxy S4 software features get a video demo

Coming in with a bit less than 12 hours before the official announcement, we are getting a look at a few of the features that are expected to arrive with the Galaxy S4. This latest round includes three videos -- the first shows Smart Pause, the second shows Floating Touch and the third is offering a look at the new lock screen setup. Another day another leak.
