Today on the chopping block we have the brand new Samsung Galaxy S II headed to T-Mobile. Just like its twin brothers it has an amazing design that is thin and lightweight, but we also have a different, faster 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and a huge 4.52" Super AMOLED display here. We all know plenty about the amazing Galaxy S II superphone already but I'll be comparing it to the new Amaze 4G also on T-Mobile and running a few benchmarks, for now I'll just jump right into the pictures and video for everyone to enjoy.

The T-Mobile version of the SGSII was announced last month and will be officially for sale starting Wednesday, October 12th for just $229. Today the Samsung Galaxy S II has just arrived for T-Mobile, while not available yet in stores we've been putting it through its paces and you can see our hands-on coverage here. We've also fully reviewed the AT&T Galaxy S II and that can be seen here. Today, just for a comparison we have a few screenshots of both running the popular benchmark Quadrant for everyone to enjoy, results can be seen below but lets just say this is one fast smartphone.

Everyone say hello to the big boy on the block, the T-Mobile version of the Samsung Galaxy S II. With its awesome 4.52" AMOLED display, 1.5 GHz dual-core processor it surely will rule the T-Mobile streets for a few weeks. This being the third Galaxy S II available in the US -- first being the Epic 4G Touch, second being the AT&T Galaxy S II I'm excited to show everyone this top contender for Galaxy S II supremacy so check out our unboxing video and pictures below.

T-Mobile appears to be gearing up for some pretty impressive sales of the new Samsung Galaxy S II for their network. Codenamed the Hercules it will come to market as just the Galaxy S II for T-Mobile. Officially announced a few weeks back, the T-Mobile branded version of one of the best phones around will be available come October 12th. It appears T-Mobile stores are already starting to receive tons of stock, gearing for a big launch.

AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II on sale at Walmart and Amazon as low as $149

The Samsung Galaxy S II is finally available over on AT&T for just $199 and as always others are trying to capitalize on the release. Like usual those include Amazon, Walmart and others all offering lower prices than if you were to over to AT&T themselves. We've been enjoying the Galaxy S II and here is our full review.

This is the Samsung Galaxy S II. There are many like it, but AT&T customers, this one is yours. The carrier is now officially selling the phone on its website. They initially announced a September 18th release date for the much-anticipated superphone, so they're only a little late.

Galaxy S II X reviewed in Canada

The crazy Canucks at MobileSyrup have gotten their sticky mitts on a Telus-branded version of the Samsung Galaxy S II X, with a super-sized 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display. They've put it through the regular paces and not found the phone wanting, particularly praising its build quality, which surprisingly exceeds the vanilla Galaxy S II.
