Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket in white coming soon, press images revealed

Just in time for the holidays and white Christmas season Samsung appears to be suiting up a few of their Galaxy S II smartphones in white. Last week T-Mobile announced their Galaxy S II was coming soon in white, and quickly followed the announcement with a hands-on video. We haven't seen a formal announcement but according to Samsung the AT&T 4G LTE Galaxy S II Skyrocket will get the same treatment.

Right before our near future of shopping madness, you can bet we'll be seeing some great new commercials. Samsung just dropped one showing off how waiting for the "right" phone to get here just doesn't make sense when the Galaxy S II is already here. It's quite comical, but even more amusing is the fact that this could very well happen.

For those that love white smartphones and would rather not wander around with an iDevice T-Mobile has you covered. Announced this morning as "coming soon" is the T-Mobile Galaxy S II dressed in white for the holiday and Christmas season. We've now spotted a video from T-Mobile themselves showing off just how purdy the SGSII looks in real life.

Now that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is out in the wild and the source is available to all we are starting to see a few ICS ROM's appearing for select handsets. This is not a port from the SDK but a ROM built and modified right from the source code. What we have today is the popular and widely known standard Bell Galaxy S II that has been tweaked, hacked, and manhandled to achieve one of the highest Quadrant benchmark tests we've ever seen. Today one of our favorite Android phone manufacturers unveiled another awesome color for their top of the line smartphone. Why yes we are talking about Samsung and the highly popular Galaxy S II. Today in South Korea Samsung has unveiled the "pretty" or "cute" Galaxy S II rocking everyone's favorite color -- hot pink! Android Community Weekly: November 6, 2011

We've had a great week of tech reviews, hands-on/unboxings, and development for this first week of November! First, we started off our work week with an excellent review of the Motorola ATRIX 2 by Michael Crider. An unboxing of the HTC Rezound was then performed by Cory Gunther soon after. After seeing ads of the HTC Rezound show up in Verizon Wireless stores, you can be sure to see this device soon. It was officially announced to the public Thursday, and around the same time we released our own hands-on round-up.
