Verizon Galaxy S III 4.1.2 Jelly Bean software update leaked

Samsung's extremely popular Galaxy S III flagship smartphone has been updated at a quick pace from Sammy, and all but those in the US have been updated to the latest 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Sadly for those in the US we're still waiting for that update to arrive for some of the carriers, most notably Verizon's model. Today however it leaked, but still isn't showing all the features we've come to expect.

Galaxy S III on T-Mobile reportedly getting 4G LTE March 27th

We all know the folks at T-Mobile have been working diligently to get their own 4G LTE network up and running to compete with AT&T and Verizon. While their current 42 HSPA+ network is quick, it still isn't quite 4G LTE. We know T-Mobile is planning to push their upgrade hard in the early parts of 2013, and a new leak shows the Galaxy S III might be first to the plate come March 27th.

Samsung’s 2013 La Fleur smartphone collection unveiled

Samsung has officially unveiled the 2013 edition La Fleur smartphone collection. The collection will include the Galaxy S III Mini, Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy S DUOS and the Galaxy Ace DUOS as well as the Galaxy S III in both white and red. Samsung has yet to comment in terms of a global release schedule, however we do know they will be arriving in Russia.

Galaxy Nexus was just the start: Verizon “end of life” comes for many

Yesterday we found out about Verizon's plans to stop offering the original Galaxy Nexus, but things are far worse than we feared. It turns out Verizon is discontinuing a number of handsets, with the apparent goal of letting stock dry up over the next few months. Some of the handsets Verizon is discontinuing are a little on the old side these days, while others might be getting phased out in anticipation of a successor.

Samsung recommended more than Apple by UK retailers

Given the steep cost of a new smartphone, picking one that's perfect for you can be a pretty daunting task. We often turn to retailer employees when it comes time to pick a new handset, asking them for suggestions about which phone would be ideal for our lives. As it turns out, employees at some of the biggest phone retailers in the UK seem to suggest Samsung handsets over Apple's iPhone line more often.

T-Mobile 4G LTE launching in Las Vegas next week with Galaxy S III support

We have some potentially great news for all you T-Mobile fans. They have huge plans for a 4G LTE network to take on Verizon and AT&T, but new reports are stating their 4G LTE could finally kick off next week. Details have confirmed that T-Mobile could enable their 4G LTE market in Las Vegas as early as next week followed by Kansas City and others in February. Even bigger news is the Samsung Galaxy S III and Note II will be the first devices with 4G LTE support.

Pelican launches two new cases for Samsung Galaxy S III [Hands-on]

The heavy duty case company Pelican who is known for their hard, durable, and waterproof cases for everything from cameras to rifles is entering the smartphone business. Pelican has actually offered a few waterproof "cases" in the past, but they were more of a bag or box completely protecting the device. At CES we learned they'll be offering actual every day cases soon, so here's a few hands-on pictures.
