Samsung Galaxy Player 3.6 released in South Korea

After launching a larger Galaxy Player 4.0 and 5.0 last year in South Korea and eventually other markets Samsung is back and have just launched a new size in their homeland. This is the Samsung Galaxy Player 3.6 personal music player. If you thought PMP's were dead now that everyone uses smartphones think again -- because the iPod is still selling well and Samsung has done pretty good with these too.

We've had a great week of tech reviews, hands-on/unboxings, and development for this first week of November! First, we started off our work week with an excellent review of the Motorola ATRIX 2 by Michael Crider. An unboxing of the HTC Rezound was then performed by Cory Gunther soon after. After seeing ads of the HTC Rezound show up in Verizon Wireless stores, you can be sure to see this device soon. It was officially announced to the public Thursday, and around the same time we released our own hands-on round-up.

Samsung Officially Announces Galaxy Tab 8.9, and Galaxy Players coming in October

Samsung has just announced full pricing and retail availability for three new Android devices today. Those being the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 as well as the Galaxy Player 5.0 and 4.0 media devices. We've seen plenty of these over the past few weeks as well as full Tab 8.9 pre-order information. Today we have full details and the Galaxy Tab 8.9 will be available starting October 2nd.

Samsung Galaxy S Wi-Fi 3.6″ Player Announced

More news from Samsung today folks. As if we haven't talked about them all week anyways, but we are now hearing they've also just announced the Samsung Galaxy S Wi-Fi Music Player. You might be thinking don't they already have a Galaxy S Player in 4 and 5" sizes? Yup, and details on those are right here. Apparently they are now bringing a 3.6" Galaxy S Player to market too.

Amazon Nearly Prepared for Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0

Remember back a million years ago, aka January of this year, when we did an odd review of some Samsung commercials advertising a device that looked awfully similar to an iPod Touch? Turns out that product is FINALLY nearly ready to be sold in the USA, and by the looks of things, it'll be coming to Amazon first. Also there's certainly been more news on these little devices since those commercials, but not a whole heck of a lot on a release date - and that's what matters most!

Samsung Galaxy Player hits the FCC

The Samsung Galaxy Player for those that don't know is a device aimed at the iPod Touch crowd. For those like us that just love Android this is not only a great alternative, but an overall solid little fun filled device. It's basically a Galaxy S Phone without the phone. It has the same cameras and that amazing 4.0" AMOLED Display, with 5.0" versions in the works also. Today the Galaxy Player has passed through the FCC.

Samsung Galaxy Player 4 & 5 headed to the U.S. to rival iPod

Looks like we have got a bit more exciting news about the Samsung Galaxy Player. Samsung intends to rival Apple's highly popular iPod Touch with a mini tablet-like device of their own. They have the Samsung Galaxy Player 4 & 5 both en route. The two models are named for screen size, 4" and 5". News has leaked that they are on the way to the U.S market and will be up for sale soon, as in "Spring".

Samsung Galaxy Player Pre-Order Starts February 4, Launch Mid-Month

It appears that a pre-order date has been set for the Samsung Galaxy Player, aka the Samsung equivalent of, you guessed it, the iPod Touch. This device is based on the Samsung Galaxy S line of phones and will feature a 4-inch Super LCD screen, 1GHz CPU, 3.2 megapixel camera, front facing video camera, T-DMB, GPS, HD video playback, Wifi, Bluetooth, microSD card slot, and a 1200mAh battery.

They start with a supposed CCTV view of a convenience/grocery store with a handful of people in it, just shopping - then WHAM! In comes a couple of terrible robbers come in with guns! Oh my gosh! Who will save the day? You guessed it - the brand spanking new mobile music player GALAXY Player 50!
