When Samsung unveiled its latest S Pen phablet, the Galaxy Note III, it only showed two storage configuration options of 32 GB and 64 GB. It seems that a lower capacity model actually exists and will be available in Taiwan starting this week.
Before Samsung announced their Galaxy Note 3 earlier this month there was countless reports regarding multiple different models in the works. At one point rumors suggested four different variants, but after their event we only saw two. The quad-core Snapdragon 800 powered LTE flavor, and Samsung's own 8-core version. However, two more might actually still be coming.
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 3 at an event earlier in the month. The handset saw plenty of rumors in the lead up to that announcement, and as Samsung and the carriers were pretty forthcoming in terms of specs and release details -- those rumors had come to an end. But it looks like they have kicked-off once again. The rumors are touching back on a Galaxy Note 3 with flexible display.
When Verizon announced their version of the popular Galaxy Note II flagship smartphone last year, many were angry and upset to see they plastered their checkmark logo right on the home button. For whatever reason they felt the need to put it there, and all over the back of the device, and as expected many users weren't too pleased. Well, the Galaxy Note 3 has escaped this issue, and it didn't get the same brutal treatment.
It seemed most of the HTC One Max leaks had been focused on that little square box that is sitting on the back of the handset. The one that sits just below the camera lens and is expected to be a fingerprint scanner. Well, looking at some of the more recent leaks and it looks like the Galaxy Note 3 is becoming a trusty companion.
As we had been expecting, T-Mobile has opened up pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The handset is expected to begin shipping on October 1st and as we have come to expect with T-Mobile, the Note 3 comes with an initial downpayment followed by another 24 monthly payments. T-Mobile will also be offering the Galaxy Gear, but so far there is no sign of available pre-orders for the smartwatch.

AT&T will be shipping the Galaxy Note 3 on October 1st, with T-Mobile following on the second, but now we're hearing Best Buy might beat all US carriers to the punch and offer it unlocked later this week.
The excitement around the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch are finally about to pay off, as the devices are both hitting pre-order status across the US. AT&T announced theirs would be live tonight, and this afternoon T-Mobile has confirmed the Galaxy Note 3 and Gear will kick off for them on Wednesday.
Not everybody bought into the smartwatch fad, an observation that Samsung, who just unveiled its Galaxy Gear smartwatch early this month, seems to have taken to heart. The Korean manufacturer is now reported to be developing a revamped smartwatch which we may see as early as the first quarter next year.
Samsung's brand new flagship smartphone tablet hybrid the Galaxy Note 3 is about to go down under, and is now available for pre-order for those in Australia. We've learned carrier Mobicity has the new Note 3 up for pre-order as we speak in both LTE and non-LTE flavors for those interested.
