announced at UK retailers yesterday now has some pretty pictures to go with it. The new hue will be available for sale in early February at Clove and other phone sellers in its standard unlocked configuration, at the same ~499 GBP total price that the original is currently sold at. There are no current plans for carrier-subsidized versions, though that's certainly possible in the future.
Expansys and Handtec. The frost white model should become available "in the next two weeks" according to the former, and on February 6th for the latter. In addition, both are taking pre-orders for a 32GB version of the grey model, due sometime in the next month.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus on launch day, you have a responsibility to unlock that bootloader, root Android and get cracking with some custom mods and ROMs. Even though the process isn't terribly difficult, there are a good number of steps and checks, and not everyone is up for the challenge. Just one week until either RAZR-thin phones or Ice Cream sandwich comes to Fido's customers - what a decision.
Wirefly has the Verizon Galaxy Nexus for just $229 -- a cool $70 cheaper than Verizon.
Verizon's Galaxy Nexus already, but the one that clearly stood apart from the rest was AOKP by Roman of RootzWiki. Thus far, his build has been the most stable and speedy while still having all the bells and whistles. Through a ROM Control quicklink within the settings, rooted users can customize their phone with ease and reliability; no need to boot into recovery. And most importantly, this ROM has just reached its first "Milestone". A milestone release aims at fixing all the current bugs, and offers an option for users that don't feel like flashing another .ZIP through ClockworkMod every other day.
MIUI ROM for Google's favorite son. Different builds for the GSM and CDMA Galaxy Nexus are available over at XDA, both compiled from the official MIUI source code from popular ROM developer DroidVicious.
