Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch ICS update leaked
Ah, there hasn't been enough news lately about the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch lately - my fingers were just starting to recover. An enterprising XDA user named "sfhub" has posted what seems to be an official Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Now Network phone, compatible only with the specific version of the device. The leak comes after various international versions of the Galaxy S II have been updated, not to mention leaks for AT&T's Galaxy S II and Galaxy S II Skyrocket.

Android Community Weekly: February 18, 2012
It's time to rehash the entire weeks top stories and bring everyone up to speed before next week's big MWC event in Barcelona, Spain. First up, specifications of the HTC One X, set to be their new 'hero' device, surfaced early Wednesday morning. The One X has also had its ROM leak to the public, which made a later Android 4.0 port to the HTC Sensation a reality. The port sports HTC Sense 4.0, yet they've had to disable the Rosie launcher, keyboard, and HTC's lockscreen. They've been replaced with more stable substitutions for the time being.

Samsung Epic 4G Touch could be the first GSII receiving Android 4.0
Samsung Epic 4G Touch owners are probably on the edges of their seats right now. And sources say, it could be the first Galaxy S II to receive Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The Now Network has been punctual at delivering updates in the past, and over on their official forums resides some eye-squinting information detailing an Android 4.0.3 update is imminent. It unveils both the Touch's model number and software version. Therefore, we should definitely expect an update - hopefully sooner rather than later.

AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Review [Video]
Welcome back to one of the quickest and highest selling Android-based smartphone series in the Google-based mobil OS' history, here representing with the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S II. This device is the third smartphone to be released with the Galaxy S II name attached, and it's certainly not the last, having been preceded by the original international edition Galaxy S II and the largest display-having version yet in the Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch, followed here in the states by the T-Mobile version (also titled Galaxy S II), it having the same large display as the Epic 4G Touch at 4.5-inches but with a different processor than all released versions at this time. This 4.32-inch Super AMOLED Plus display-having dual-core chip toting handset is under the magnifying glass today here by yours truly at Android Community.

Samsung Galaxy S II global sales at 10 MILLION
It appears that the next generation in the radically popular Galaxy line from Samsung is hitting just as many plateaus as its predecessor, today the Galaxy S II being reported as hitting 10 million in global sales. This is the model GT-I9100, the original version of the device that you'll remember seeing first in Chris Davies original review of this device. It's been one of the most tantalizing devices for the USA for some time now as it's been blocked from release for whatever reason or another, but just a couple weeks ago we've seen the drop begin. What will sales be now that the states have versions of the handset as well?

And just recently, the AT&T Galaxy S II was unboxed by Chris Burns; be sure to ask him any questions regarding the device so they may be answered before the official review! The Epic 4G Touch is already available, but AT&T expects to release their Galaxy S II for under $200 coming October.

Is your Epic 4G Touch getting hot?
The Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch has just been released to the United States market and everyone and their mother appears to have purchase one. With this comes the possibility for every single tiny flaw in the hardware and/or the software to be uncovered - and of course that's what we want to do, and we want to find flaws as soon as possible so that the manufacturers and/or the carriers can alleviate concerns before they become explosive. Today's report comes from the wild streets of XDA where they say they're getting hot, hot, hot. Temperature-wise on their Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch units, that is, and with both temperatures listed and screenshots shot, we've gotta treat this one as a real concern with need for fix for certain!

Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch Review
Welcome to the United States, Galaxy S II, I see you've got the longest name in the history of smartphones here in your initial iteration! Don't worry, though, it's nothing to be afraid of - you're still the thinnest 4G device on any and every carrier you'll be on here in the states, and with this first launch on the WiMAX carrying carrier, you're round and lovely as well. The Epic 4G Touch has what many might call the most unique look to it of all the Galaxy S II devices out thus far, having a 4.5-inch display, the roundest edges in a Galaxy S II thus far, and almost spherical back corners with a textured battery cover. Four buttons at the bottom and it's lost its international single-center-button charm, will it add up to the legends we've heard of this device as it's been out for the past few months in Europe in Asia?
