Cricket Wireless to launch the Samsung Admire 2 and Galaxy Discover

Cricket Wireless recently announced the upcoming availability of the GALAXY S 4, however it looks like that will not be the only Samsung smartphone joining the lineup. The GALAXY S 4 will be the higher-end Samsung model, but Cricket has also detailed plans for an upcoming launch of the Admire 2 and the Galaxy Discover.

MetroPCS is adding a new device to its smartphone lineup. The new device is an upgrade to the Samsung Admire. It adds 4G LTE connectivity to the entry-level Samsung smartphone. Besides 4G connectivity, the device also comes equipped with some other upgrades and improvements, and it maintains an affordable price tag.

The Samsung Admire is heading to MetroPCS this school season and should hit shelves just in time for back to school shoppers. We first saw and spied on this device in early July and it was running some Android 2.3 Gingerbread. This should make for a perfect back to school mid-range phone for friends and family.
