HTC device codename list revealed, seems pretty accurate

Whoa, check out this list of codenames that was just leaked regarding that all popular smartphone brand HTC. Apparently this is a list of their upcoming device codenames and from my first initial glance this is highly accurate. Plenty of those have already hit the market and we've been hearing a few others lately too, like the just revealed HTC Edge.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus Rumors running wild, notification LED’s, big batteries, more

So, we all know the new Samsung Nexus is coming, I'm calling it the Galaxy Nexus but you can call it whatever you'd like. To start I'll mention that we will be live at Samsung Unpacked for the event next week that everyone expects Google and Samsung to unveil this, so stay tuned as we'll have all the accurate details right from the source as soon as humanly possible -- with tons of pictures. Some specs were leaked this morning stating a 5 MP camera and a few other things but now we are seeing plenty of rumors and conflicting stories and just wanted to update and share what we've seen.

Amazon sending out press invites, I sense an Android tablet

Just hitting the wires this morning is the long awaited press invite from Amazon. In what appears to be nothing but an invite and a tease for an upcoming press conference being held by Amazon we can only expect this to be the long awaited and much rumored Android Kindle Tablet.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus coming before the DROID Prime

I almost don't even know where to start. We've heard so many rumors regarding this upcoming device lately that things are starting to get a bit out of hand. First off, we are now hearing the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will launch come November 3rd, on Verizon Wireless. They are known for launching devices on Thursday so this could be somewhat accurate. New rumors are also claiming the Galaxy Nexus will come first, and will not be the DROID Prime, more details after the break.

HTC Planning on 6 to 8 New Devices Over the Rest of the Year

HTC has confirmed that they will release between 6 and 8 new phones and tablets before the year is out. Unfortunately, the looming eve of Windows Phone 7.1 (Mango) means that these new devices will not be exclusively Android, but HTC did say that our little green friend will be powering the majority of the devices. Let's take a quick recap of what we know, and what may be in store. First up we have the all but confirmed HTC Puccini, who popped up in some very official looking photos this week. The Puccini is a 10" tablet, HTC's first, running Honeycomb (presumably 3.1 or 3.2). The tablet has been seen hanging around the FCC where it showed off AT&T's LTE bands. We haven't heard anything official on AT&T's LTE network, but if its cleared the FCC, the Puccini can't be too far off. Next up we have the HTC Ruby, another definitely Android device. We don't know too much about this one yet other than that it is destined for T-Mobile. There is a similarity in the camera interface in a leaked photo to that on the MyTouch 4G Slide. Because of this, we are speculating it may be the newest MyTouch phone, but only time will tell. To top it all off we have the HTC Ignite (a recently leaked Windows Phone) and a slew of new codenames HTC just trademarked. So our count so far is 2 Android devices and 1 WP7. That is a majority all right, but only 3 devices. That means HTC's cooking up some fancy new Android toys for us that will be here before Christmas. [via SlashGear]

HTC Trademarks Several New Names, Has the Need for Speed

Here come the leaks boys and girls. HTC has just filed for trademarks on five, count 'em FIVE, new phone names. This is the first we've heard of the Cheetah, Raider, Titan, Skyrocket, or Velo, so we don't have much to go by. With names like that though, I'd bet "fast" may be in HTC's marketing future.

Google Ice Cream Sundae Logo a new android flavor [RUMOR]

This weekend, Google celebrated the 119th anniversary of the creation of the Sundae, that yummy soda fountain confection of ice cream, fudge, nuts and whipped cream with a cherry on top. Yummy dessert to be sure. But blogs are ablaze that it's something more than a delicious ice cream parfait. Some think it's the new flavor of Android.

Motorola developing own OS? [silly rumor]

Motorola is working on their own OS? What? Back that up. Several blogs are putting forth the rumor that Motorola's friendship with Google is waning and that the cellphone manufacturer has been quietly hiring Apple and Adobe engineers with the aim of developing their own platform OS to compete with Android. The thinking is that Google is "shooting itself win the foot" with fragmentation problems, manufacturer support issues, and market saturation of so many Android phones, you can't tell one from the other. Can this rumor really be credible? We don't think so.
