EU Watchdogs inquiring to Google about Android

As of late, it seems as if the EU Regulations Commission has been pestering everyone for their doggy treats. But none more so than Google and Microsoft, both of whom are the biggest players in their respective segments. This time, the EU is probing Google in regards to reports that they've been discount pricing Android to manufacturers with the expectation that they increase Google App awareness to their clients.

Samsung Galaxy S 5 to be made entirely out of metal

The Samsung Galaxy S 5 is currently in development stages, but what isn't known is what it will look like or feel like in the palm of your hand. With over 10 million S 4's sold already, it's exciting to think about how different (or similar) the S 5 will be, and whether or not it will be an evolution or a brand new product altogether.

HTC One Android 4.2 update could very well arrive tomorrow

HTC is still running the One on 4.1 Jelly Bean, and so it's with great enthusiasm that all owners of the International version of the device are anxious to get their hands on the new 4.2 update. Expected for the middle of June, and if rumors are anything to live by, you could be downloading it to your One within the next 24 hours.

LG considering the elimination of the Optimus high end brand?

In a shocking move, akin to Toyota shutting down its Lexus division, LG is supposedly in talks to shutter the doors of the Optimus nameplate on their higher end devices. The Korean company is well known for making devices that are already on the higher end of the spectrum, but just like the previously mentioned Toyota/Lexus relationship, "Optimus" is their current high end brand. As we know, brand names aren't everything though, or are they?

HTC One with a larger 5-inch display coming soon

Due to being what many would consider the perfect size coming in at 4.7-inches the HTC One is a popular smartphone, but for those wanting something a little bigger, apparently that is coming too. HTC is preparing to launch a larger version of their popular HTC One, and some rumors are suggesting a display that's 5-inches or bigger to compete with Samsung's GALAXY S 4.

LG Nexus 4 with LTE and Key Lime Pie rumored for Google I/O

We all know the folks from Google have pretty big plans for their upcoming I/O developer event in May, but what exactly will we be seeing is still anyone's guess. We've heard and reported countless rumors but today another has appeared that takes the cake. Apparently Google will be dropping a new LG Nexus 4 (not a 5) with 32GB of storage and full support for 4G LTE. It will run Android Key Lime Pie and be revealed at Google I/O.

GALAXY S 4 Mini reportedly launching soon after its bigger brother

Just a few weeks ago Samsung took the stage and announced their new flagship GALAXY S 4 smartphone. Shortly after we immediately started hearing reports and rumors regarding a Galaxy S 4 Mini coming soon. Not only that, but the phone leaked into the wild late last week. Today however, reports from Bloomberg are reportedly confirming both the device, and that it will be hitting the market very soon.
