New Next Galaxy teaser hints at borderless, metal design

As the day of the official unveiling of the Samsung "Next Galaxy" grows nearer, we can expect that its teasers become less of a tease and more of actual but unconfirmed details about the upcoming new flagship device. The latest one is the longest video yet and may have just unofficially confirmed the rumors that the Galaxy S6 (still an unconfirmed name, we're just assuming) would have a metallic body and dual-curved display.

As the rumored launch date of Samsung’s upcoming flagship phone – the Samsung Galaxy S6 – draws ever nearer, we are flooded by a lot of rumors and news items regarding the elusive smartphone. An actual model has not been seen in the wild, and would most likely remain hidden until it is unveiled at MWC 2015 in Barcelona a month from now.

Samsung Galaxy S6 probably not waterproof

Samsung's widely-anticipated flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6, would most likely make its worldwide debut at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona, Spain this coming March 2. In that sense, all you Samsung fans should be pumped up at seeing the new phone, but some rumors are coming today that might dampen the mood -- word has gone out that Samsung’s newest smartphone might not be waterproof as earlier expected.

Galaxy S6 rumored to have glass back and no replaceable battery

Another rumor about the new Samsung Galaxy S6 has sprouted up and it doesn’t sound too good. One of the appeals to owning a Samsung Galaxy phone is the ability to switch out batteries. Whether it’s from replacing the battery with another OEM battery or carrying aftermarket batteries, Samsung devices have that appealing perk which keeps customers around. Korean press source DDaily suggests that the new Samsung Galaxy S6 battery will not be replaceable.

So if these reports and leaks are true, then Samsung must be taking the jibes at them not being able to make a metal-bound phone very seriously indeed. We thought the Samsung Galaxy Alpha – including the whole Samsung A Series – was going to be the end of it, but here we are looking at a leak of the Samsung Galaxy S6’s purported metal casing.

Moto G2 (or G+1) rumored to be available by September 10

The Moto G2 or G+1 (the official name is still unknown) is rumored to be available in the market by next month, according to one of the retailers who received the news from Motorola themselves. The 5-inch smartphone is being touted as the successor to the Moto G, called by some as the best Android phone for under $200.
