Rumor: Samsung “Next Big Thing” marketing chief to leave

The man responsible for Samsung almost bringing down their erstwhile rival to their knees is reportedly set to leave the Korean OEM. Chief Marketing Officer Todd Pendleton was responsible for "The Next Big Thing" campaign that brought such a huge success for Samsung and the Galaxy S3 in particular. Rumors have said he has already announced his resignation to colleagues, although this has not been officially confirmed yet by the company or Pendleton.

Google to reportedly release Android Wear app for iOs devices

With a lot of skepticism and not much excitement about the soon-to-be released Apple Watch, Google is reportedly already preparing to venture into the tough world of iOS users and release the Android Wear app for iPhone and iPad users. A French technology website is citing sources close to the tech giant, saying this is not a too far-out possibility as they are trying to expand their wearable market, even beyond the already large Android-using market.

Galaxy S6 Edge may be called Galaxy S Dual Edge

We have been talking about some of the rumors surrounding the coming Samsung smartphone with the curved LCD that wraps around the edges of the device. So far, the device has been called the Galaxy S6 Edge. This is the device was saw in AnTuTu benchmarks earlier this month. A new report has surfaced that suggest the name we have been using for the new curved screen smartphone is wrong.

Android Pay tipped for Google I/O unveiling

Sources have again surfaced, and they bring with them whispers of an upcoming "Android Pay" announcement at Google's I/O conference early this summer. Android Pay, should it come to fruition, will work exactly as you'd expect: it'll be used to accept payments in apps, and to pay for items in stores with a tap-to-pay arrangement and support for Android Pay. According to sources, Android Pay will likewise be built from the ground-up for Android devs, and will be, by the looks of things, a direct competitor to Apple Pay.

Nexus 6 now on Amazon, Moto E soon with Verizon (maybe)

Motorola has been on a smartphone roll of late, being the OEM of choice for Google's Nexus 6, and receiving good reviews for their newer handsets, including the mid-range Moto E. The main problem has been availability though, as they usually run out of stock and people have to search far and wide (well, on their computers at least) if they want to get a unit, specifically for the Nexus 6. But now Motorola is widening their reach, with both confirmed and rumored news.

Pebble website teases of a surprise in 4 days

When you go to the Pebble website, you'll be forgiven for thinking a bomb will go off in 4 days and x number of hours, seconds, milliseconds, etc. Of course it's not a literal bomb (we hope not) but the timer seems to be signaling a major surprise from the smartwatch maker. But as to what this surprise will be is still up for a lot of speculation, from a colored display wearable/new hardware or it may be a new software or maybe even both.

Galaxy S6 Edge spied breaking records on AnTuTu

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has been spied making a run at the AnTuTu benchmark program and in its wake are details about the hardware that will be inside the device when it launches. We are all expecting big things from the next Galaxy S device and if the benchmarks are real, big things are in store performance wise.

Samsung might have confirmed Galaxy S6, S6 Edge with support pages

While Samsung has not officially come out with a press release about it, the presence of support pages on its website may have confirmed that the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will be launching in a few weeks time at their pre-event at the Mobile World Congress. There is still not much information (except speculation) about the two devices, but fans of the OEM are already looking forward to the unveiling of the newest smartphone variants.
