Rovio, makers of ‘Angry Birds’ franchise, strongly denies sharing info with the NSA

Recently, some reports have come out suggesting that the NSA is using Angry Birds to source data about its users. Angry Birds Star Wars reaches “explosive conclusion”

Rovio released Angry Birds Star Wars II for Android a while back and while that seemed to have left the original Angry Birds Star Wars in a bit of a holding pattern, it looks like we now have the conclusion. Or in this case, as Rovio has said, the "explosive conclusion." Simply put, the final update for Angry Birds Star Wars has landed in the Play Store earlier today.

Angry Birds Star Wars II update adds 40 new levels

Rovio recently updated Angry Birds Seasons and added quite a few new levels. And well, it looks like they have just done the same for the Star Wars version. In this case, that means an update for the free (with ads) and paid (no ads) version of Angry Birds Star Wars II. For this particular update, those playing Angry Birds Star Wars II will now have 40 new levels to work through.

Rovio’s Bad Piggies gets a Halloween-themed update

In terms of Rovio game releases, Angry Birds captures the most attention. But we do have to remember they have other titles available. Rovio has Tiny Thief and Amazing Alex, not to mention Bad Piggies, which was just updated today. As one may suspect given the time of year, this latest Bad Piggies update is halloween themed.

Angry Birds Star Wars II arrives in the Play Store

Despite having a promised release date of September 19th, it looks like Rovio has released Angry Birds Star Wars II for Android a day ahead of schedule. Rovio had said they would be releasing Angry Birds Star Wars II for free and for $0.99. The free version would be ad-supported and the paid version would be ad-free. With that in mind, at this time it looks like only the paid version is available.
