Google’s US GSM Galaxy Nexus gets separate software image

Google made a splash earlier today when it reanimated its direct phone sales, selling the Galaxy Nexus directly from the Google Play Store for $399 unlocked. In a Google Groups post, a representative stated that while the hardware is identical to the GSM model that's been available overseas for almost six months, the software gets one important revision: Google Wallet support is added natively. Google Wallet is still only available in the United States.

MIUI ICS ROM officially available for the Galaxy Nexus

One of the most popular ROM's for the world of Android along with CyanogenMod is MIUI, and today we have good news regarding their development of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and the Galaxy Nexus. MIUI has been available for multiple devices for a long time and we've seen a few hacked or ported ROM's for the Galaxy Nexus but now the official MIUI ICS for "toro" the Verizon Galaxy Nexus is available in all its glory.

Qualcomm releases Adreno graphic drivers for ICS – let the custom ROMs flow

Good news appeared over the weekend for many HTC smartphone owners, especially the ones with slightly older devices running Qualcomm processors. While Qualcomm hasn't been the friendliest group to modders and the Android Community, they have tried. With all the changes to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich modders have had a hard time building fully operational and smooth ROM's with Android 4.0 ICS. Over the weekend Qualcomm made this entire process much easier for smartphones running their platform.

Samsung’s official ICS ROM for the Galaxy Note leaked, not all models supported

We've known for some time that Samsung intended to upgrade its gigantic flagship to Ice Cream Sandwich, and it looks like work is well under way to do so. A new alpha ICS ROM for the Galaxy Note has been posted to XDA Developers, and it looks like it's an official Samsung release (complete with TouchWiz). The ROM was spotted on a Chinese forum. Don't boot up your recoveries just yet, Note users: this software only works with the I9220 model number, and it's localized for the Chinese market. The standard international GSM version, and presumably AT&T's version set to go on sale on Sunday, are not supported. Flashing to these devices may brick them.

Motorola RAZR Android 4.0 build leaks — Blur UI and all

Look what we have here folks. It appears a build of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the recently released Motorola RAZR has leaked to the interwebs. I'll start by saying this is not for the DROID RAZR, and only for the GSM RAZR worldwide but it's a good sign indeed. With Moto's Blur UI barely noticeable I'm a little excited I must admit.

HTC Rezound Ice Cream Sandwich build leaks

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is all the rage right now and we've been hoping to see it on as many devices as possible. While developers are busy working on ports it appears an extremely early official build for the HTC Rezound has leaked. This is only Android 4.0.1 and isn't too stable, but it's a start.

T-Mobile LG G2x gets a MIUI Port

The LG Optimus 2x has been enjoying the beauty of the MIUI custom ROM for a while already but sadly the T-Mobile G2x users weren't so lucky. Thanks to some porting of the official MIUI for the Optimus 2x users of the LG G2x can now enjoy the same awesome ROM. Other than CyanogenMod, MIUI is one of the most popular ROM's available and I'm sure many will be happy to give this a try.
